Recently went to the day of Portugal, it basically consists of an open day where we can see some equipment from the armed forces in portugal and objects of enormous value.
These demos are free and free.
Portugal Day is on the 10th of June and this year it was celebrated in the Vila Real area, a more inland area of Portugal, which at the same time helps to promote the interior as hundreds of people went to see this small demonstration of equipment.

The Douro is the region where the fantastic Port wine is produced, which I'm sure most of you have heard about or even tasted.
For being one of the best known wines of the region, "Port wine"

Personally I really like drones where I could see 2 fantastic examples of the Portuguese navy.

The main drone presented was the ogassa Vtol, according to some data presented there, it reaches a range of 100km and can fly over the areas for 6 to 8 hours, reaches about 2500 meters in height, fueled with gasoline with a tank capacity of 11 liters, it is about 36 kilos and can carry another 5 kilos, top speed 71 knots

This one, unlike its brother tekever from another manufacturer, does not need the impulse caused by the rail, it can simply be lifted in a small view.
In addition to military service in missions, it also serves for sightings of rural fires where, with the adaptation of thermal sensors, it allows easier monitoring of the area and focus of fire, in addition to being very versatile.

The orange one manufactured by a Portuguese company tekever AR3 Tol, does not have wheels and always needs that rail to be launched, this takes the weight off the wheels, although it can be applied at any time, it turns out to be more adaptable to the type of mission, as and adaptable, it only weighs 25 kilos and picks up to 4 kilos, has an autonomy of up to 16 hours of flight and climbs up to 3600 meters in height.
Maximum speed 90 km/h

These 2 pieces of equipment are part of both the Air Force and the Portuguese Navy.
Having importance both in missions at sea, mainly in the detection of suspicious vessels or illegal emigrants, it also performs a fundamental work of search, such as in the detection of outbreaks of fires, having this equipment come to replace even the forest guards
