Hoy me presento en este reto vegano en su 15 Edición Your Vegetable Shopping traído por nuestra amiga @sirenahippie a la comunidad esta vez la compra esta relacionada con las Cebollas ésta verdura que es muy versátil en nuestra cocina ya que que la usamos para dar sabor, a nuestros platos que preparamos a diario, a mi particularmente me gusta comprar los vegetales y hortalizas en el mercado municipal de la ciudad, pero para allá no puedo llevar el teléfono porque lamentablemente es muy peligroso, así que para entrar a este concurso visité un supermercado.
Today I present myself in this vegan challenge in its 15 Edition Your Vegetable Shopping brought by our friend @sirenahippie to the community this time the purchase is related to the Onions this vegetable that is very versatile in our kitchen since we use it to flavor our dishes that we prepare daily, I particularly like to buy vegetables in the municipal market of the city, but I can not take the phone there because unfortunately it is very dangerous, so to enter this contest I visited a supermarket.
Yo acostumbro a hacer mis compras los días sábado, pero ayer tuvimos aquí en el estado Sucre especificamente en la ciudad de Cumaná un encuentro entre hivers organizados por hivesucre. Así que esta vez fui al supermercado conocido como "Tesco Center Sucre, C.A" ubicado en la Avenida Bermúdez en en el centro de la ciudad ya que es el más cercano, siempre tiene buenas ofertas, además mi esposo que es el que me acompaña hacer el mercado estaba fuera de la ciudad.
I usually do my shopping on Saturdays, but yesterday we had here in the state of Sucre specifically in the city of Cumaná a meeting between hivers organized by hivesucre. So this time I went to the supermarket known as "Tesco Center Sucre, C.A." located on Avenida Bermudez in the center of the city because it is the closest, always has good deals, plus my husband who is the one who accompanies me to do the market was out of town.
En este supermercado siempre hay ofertas así que al entrar fui directamnente a las legumbres y vegetales, otra cosa que se me había olvidado decir es que mi mamá nos acostumbró a hacer las compras semanales, para siempre conseguir los vegetales fresco. Semanalmente yo compro todos los vegetales por kilo, las cebollas me gusta comprarlas medianas asi utilizarlas completas, y cebollín me encanta el sabor que le da a los guisados y lo uso mucho para el arroz.
In this supermarket there are always bargains so I went straight to the vegetables, another thing I forgot to say is that my mom got us used to do the weekly shopping, so we always get fresh vegetables. Weekly I buy all the vegetables by the kilo, the onions I like to buy medium so I can use them whole, and the chives I love the flavor they give to the stews and I use them a lot for rice.

Los precios de los vegetales están colocados en una pizarra colgada de la pared. El precio de la cebolla blanca es de Bs. 22,00 equivalente a 0,88$, la cebolla morada a bs. 58,00 euivalente a 2,32$ y el cebollin a bs. 30,00 equivalente a 1,20$, como hoy es domingo les cuento que las cebollas moradas estaban muy maltratadas así que para no irme sin comprarlas solo escogí 200 grs, las cebollas blancas no estaban del tamaño que me gustan así que compré 0,58 grs y el cebollín los venden ya empaquetes agarré uno solo que pesó 0,270 grs, aunque este si me gusto porque todavía conserva su color estaban muy fresco.
Vegetable prices are posted on a blackboard hanging on the wall. Para escoger cebollas frescas además de la apariencia yo les aprieto por la raíz y si no se hunde estan buenas, además en casa las conservo fuera de la nevera y el cebollín sus hojas tienen que estar verdes y el tallo denso y antes las conservaba en la nevera en bolsas de papel, pero ahora le corto un poco las hojas, o las doblo las coloco en una bolsa plástica y le doy muchas vuelta que le queden aire.
To choose fresh onions in addition to the appearance I squeeze them by the root and if it does not sink they are good, also at home I keep them out of the fridge and the chives their leaves have to be green and the stem dense and before I kept them in the fridge in paper bags, but now I cut the leaves a little, or fold them I place them in a plastic bag and I give them many turns so that they have air left.
Para mí la cebolla blanca es una de las que más uso en mis comidas, me encanta el sabor que le da a las salsas, y la uso en sopas, guisos y para sazonar, algo importante es que contiene muchas propiedades que son beneficiosas para nuestro organismo; es muy digestiva y la cebolla morada aunque la utilizamos más para ensaladas, es excelente para hacer remedios caseros para la tos.
For me the white onion is one of the most used in my meals, I love the flavor it gives to sauces, and I use it in soups, stews and for seasoning, something important is that it contains many properties that are beneficial for our body; it is very digestive and neither purple onion although we use it more for salads, it is excellent for making home remedies for coughs.

También conservo el cebollín y otras ramas como cilantro, perejil de la misma forma dentro de una bolsa y le doy muchas vueltas para que les quede aire dentro , es un tips de cocina que me funciona muy bien. Los precios de los vegetales en tu ciudad si están más económicos que acá en la Isla de Margarita. Gracias por compartir tu compra @theresa16
