Healthy rice with green beans and chickpeas [Eng-Esp]

Today I'm sharing a delicious rice recipe that's easy to prepare and rich in fiber. I love making this rice with chickpeas and green beans to give it a more nutritious touch, and also because it's perfect for a different kind of lunch. Hoy les presento una receta de arroz deliciosa, fácil de preparar y rica en fibra. Me encanta preparar este arroz con garbanzos y judías verdes para darle un toque más nutritivo, y también porque es perfecto para un almuerzo diferente. Además, tiene un sabor único y estoy segura de que a su familia le encantará. A mí me gusta especialmente, por eso se lo recomiendo. Aquí tienen las instrucciones detalladas.

1 cup of rice, 20 grams of green beans, 1/2 cup of chickpeas, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 cups of water, 1 teaspoon of oil, salt and pepper to taste.

01 taza de arroz, 20 grs de vainitas, 1/2 taza de garbanzo, 02 dientes de ajo, 02 tazas de agua, 01 cucharadita de aceite, sal y pimienta al gusto.

The first thing to do is wash the green beans and chop them into small pieces, just like the garlic.


Lo primero que hay que hacer es lavar las judías verdes y cortarlas en trozos pequeños, igual que el ajo.

Pour the oil into a saucepan and, when hot, add the garlic, green beans, and previously washed rice, stirring constantly so that it does not stick to the pan.


Vierte el aceite en una cacerola y, cuando esté caliente, añade el ajo, las judías verdes y el arroz previamente lavado, removiendo constantemente para que no se pegue a la cacerola.

Then add the water and, when it is boiling, season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook over low heat.


A continuación, añade el agua y, cuando empiece a hervir, sazona con sal y pimienta, tapa y cocina a fuego lento.

When the water has evaporated, add the chickpeas, stir with a fork to prevent sticking, and cover again until the water has completely evaporated. Turn off the heat and leave covered for a few more minutes so that the rice is soft and fluffy.



Cuando el agua se haya evaporado, añade los garbanzos, remueve con un tenedor para evitar que se peguen y vuelve a tapar hasta que el agua se haya evaporado por completo. Apaga el fuego y deja tapado unos minutos más para que el arroz quede suave y esponjoso.
