Bueno, la verdad es que es muy gracioso todo lo que se puede hacer con Left 4 Dead 2. Antes de hablar del modo de juego que jugamos, deben saber que encontramos muchas formas de cambiar las texturas del juego, es decir, las skins de los personajes. Es bastante gracioso TODO el catálogo de skins que podemos utilizar, desde personajes de Nintendo como Mario, Sonic de Sega, e incluso Ciri de The Witcher, lol.

Cambiamos alguno que otro modelo, incluyendo los de nuestros queridos protagonistas: Los Chargers. Resulta que descubrimos un modo de juego bastante divertido que, sin duda alguna, se convirtió en uno de nuestros preferidos cuando iniciamos sesión en L4D2. Charger Nation es una completa locura, caos por cualquier lado y esto es lo que buscabamos en un modo de juego (aunque Tank Rush no se queda atrás en este aspecto).

Es muuy gracioso las cosas que pasan siempre que jugamos este modo de juego. Gracias a que los Chargers no pueden controlarse luego de que inician la carga, literalmente puedes ver cómo 4 Chargers distintos arremeten contra ti al mismo tiempo.

No sé cómo el juego procesa este tipo de situación, pero algunas cosas no pueden salir de lo más normal. Algunas veces simplemente puedes ser agarrado por un Charger y sufrirás una larga y agonizante muerte aunque tengas el juego en la mayor dificultad posible, pero, en otras ocasiones, puedes salir literalmente catapultado hacia cualquier extremo del mapa y morir instantáneamente luego de caer desde las alturas.

Al jugar normalmente, es imposible llegar a este lugar. Pero en Charger Nation fui arremetido por muchísimos Chargers distintos y terminé encima de esto. Esto es lo que hace que Charger Nation sea bastante divertido, sin mencionar que los Chargers en esta modalidad de juego van a una velocidad absurdamente grande.

Es imposible estar parado en un sitio intentando procesar todo lo que está pasando, siempre debes estar en constante movimiento para que un Charger no te agarre. Al igual que los Chargers con velocidades más rápidas que un tren, en este modo de juego se puede correr muchísimo más rápido y se pueden pasar los mapas de forma bastantes diferentes a lo usual.

Otra cosa que también instalamos fue skins para los Tanks. Bueno, para ser sincero, solo instalamos una sola y fue la del Cthulhu y con esto fue más que suficiente para que el Tank se vea mucho más intimidante. Olvidé mencionar que en el caso de los Chargers no solamente cambia la textura, sino, también los sonidos que emiten cuando empiezan a cargar. Literalmente tienen la voz de Donkey Kong y es realmente cómico escuchar a este montón de Donkey Kongs arremetiendo contra ti XD

En el Tank solo hubo un cambio de skin bastante genial en mi opinión, de esta forma se ve muchísimo más intimidante y genial. Parece un monstruo sacado del Resident Evil que, si no lo sabían, es una de mis sagas de zombies favoritas.

Aún me sigue gustando muchísimo lo bien que se ve el Left 4 Dead 2 a pesar de ser un juego muy viejo. Mi laptop no es la mejor para este tipo de cosas, he visto los posts de los muchachos y la diferencia entre las distintas configuraciones de gráficos es simplemente abismal. Me gustaría muchísimo en el futuro poder tener la libertad financiera como para correr juegos mucho más pesados (como el próximo Back 4 Blood).

Siguiendo con Charger Nation, ¿ya les dije lo caótico que es este modo de juego? En esta ocasión ya estábamos juntos mi primo, Jota y yo pasando este mapa. Es increíble lo difícil que es pasarlo en esta modalidad, siento que es incluso más difícil que el propio Tank Rush (tal vez estoy exagerando con esto), pero de verdad es una auténtica locura soportar la cantidad de Chargers.

Y por si fuera poco, en Charger Nation aún existe la posibilidad de que spawneen Tanks, así que eso le da un añadido de dificultad un poco más grande.

Me encanta completamente este modo de juego y quiero seguir jugándolo con los muchachos. Aún hay muchísimo más contenido que me gustaría mostrarles, mapas geniales y también espero poder jugar con muchas más personas dentro de Hive. Left 4 Dead 2 es un juego que aún tiene muchísimo para ofrecer y que garantiza pasar un buen rato entre nosotros.

Well, the truth is that it is very funny everything that can be done with Left 4 Dead 2. Before talking about the game mode we play, you should know that we find many ways to change the textures of the game, ie the skins of the characters. Charger Nation is complete madness, chaos everywhere and this is what we were looking for in a game mode (although Tank Rush is no slouch in this regard).

It's hilarious the things that happen whenever we play this game mode. Because the Chargers can't be controlled after they start charging, you can literally watch 4 different Chargers charge at you at the same time.

I don't know how the game processes this kind of situation, but some things just can't come out of the ordinary. Sometimes you can simply be grabbed by a Charger and suffer a long and agonizing death even if you have the game on the highest possible difficulty, but, at other times, you can literally be catapulted to either end of the map and die instantly after falling from the heights.

When playing normally, it's impossible to get to this place. But in Charger Nation I was lambasted by many, many different Chargers and ended up on top of this. This is what makes Charger Nation quite fun, not to mention that the Chargers in this game mode go at an absurdly high speed.

It is impossible to stand still in one place trying to process everything that is happening, you must always be in constant motion so that a Charger does not catch you. Just like the Chargers with speeds faster than a train, in this game mode you can run much faster and you can pass the maps in a very different way than usual.

Another thing we also installed was skins for the Tanks. Well, to be honest, we only installed one and it was the Cthulhu and this was more than enough to make the Tank look much more intimidating. I forgot to mention that in the case of the Chargers, not only the texture changes, but also the sounds they make when they start charging. They literally have the voice of Donkey Kong and it's really comical to hear this bunch of Donkey Kongs charging at you XD

On the Tank there was just a pretty cool skin change in my opinion, this way it looks a hell of a lot more intimidating and cool. It looks like a monster out of Resident Evil which, if you didn't know, is one of my favorite zombie sagas.

I still really, really like how good Left 4 Dead 2 looks despite being a very old game. My laptop isn't the best for this sort of thing, I've seen the guys' posts and the difference between the different graphics settings is just abysmal. I would very much like in the future to be able to have the financial freedom to run much heavier games (like the upcoming Back 4 Blood).

Continuing with Charger Nation, did I already told you how chaotic this game mode is? On this occasion my cousin, Jota and I were already together passing this map. It's incredible how hard it is to pass it in this mode, I feel it's even harder than Tank Rush itself (maybe I'm exaggerating with this), but it's really crazy to endure the amount of Chargers.

And if that wasn't enough, in Charger Nation there is still the possibility of spawning Tanks, so that adds a little more difficulty.

I absolutely love this game mode and want to keep playing it with the guys. There's still a ton more content I'd like to show you, cool maps and I also look forward to playing with many more people within Hive. Left 4 Dead 2 is a game that still has a lot to offer and is guaranteed to be a good time between us.
