Hoy cuando me desperté revisé un poquito mi Facebook y me encontré con la publicidad que les muestro arriba. Me pareció muy muy original y aparte ya he visto muchas publicidades similares del mismo juego, así que decidí por fin darle una probada y debo admitir que me entretuve bastante jugando hasta ahora.

El juego no necesitó casi nada de espacio en mi teléfono, así que eso es un gran punto a favor ya que no me tomó nada descargar el juego y también no me importa mucho tenerlo en mi dispositivo de todos modos.

Comencemos con la review

Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue el diseño general de todo el juego. Todo el dibujo me parece muy muy tierno y colorido, desde la pantalla de carga tenemos un vistazo del personaje principal: Un pequeño mago con una túnica roja que es el invocador de todos los monstruos que utilizaremos a lo largo del juego. La historia principal básicamente es que este mago roba un cofre y las personas del castillo real intentarán recuperarlo y es aquí donde entramos en el modo Tower Defense.

La interfaz para jugar es bastante sencilla, y lo mejor de todo esto es que estoy 100% seguro de que el creador de este juego habla español ya que incluso hay una comunidad específica donde hay UN MONTÓN de consejos y guías de locura acerca de este juego. El grupo de Facebook tiene unos 30k de miembros activos y es una locura lo activo que está ese juego a pesar de ser algo completamente sencillo, los juegos estilo Tower Defense usualmente no son tan activos. El último juego Tower Defense que jugué fue Bloons Tower Defense Battles para Android y debo admitir que fue una locura, uno de los mejores juegos que jugué en mi época de niño. Lastimosamente los hackers se apoderaron del online y el juego dejó de ser divertido (incluso yo hackee el juego XD).

Al comienzo este juego da la sensación de que es bastante complejo avanzar, pero en realidad, la mayor parte del juego es automática por lo que solamente tengo que sentarme a ver cómo mis monstruos atacan a los enemigos.

El diseño de los monstruos me pareció bastante tierno, y creo que para ser solo una pequeña desarrolladora han hecho un buen trabajo manteniendolos atractivos y tiernos. He visto otros juegos donde el diseño de los personajes da tristeza.

Solo miren cómo se ve este pequeño amigo, ¿cómo no enamorarse de él?

Como ya les dije, este juego es un Tower Defense. Las personas que ya estén familiarizadas con este estilo de juegos sabrán que en términos de jugabilidad no tendremos que hacer nada más que solo ver y pensar en una buena formación. Algunos Tower Defense tienen distintas formas de jugarse, por ejemplo, en el caso de Bloons TD podemos añadir o remover monos en cualquier momento de la partida siempre y cuando tengamos buena economía. En cambio, en Summoners Greed solamente tenemos que colocar una formación específica y esa será la formación que durará toda la partida hasta que perdamos.

Dentro del juego tendremos orbes verdes que nos permitirán desbloquear nuevos monstruos con nuevas habilidades y por ende mucho mejores. Me sorprende que hayan MUCHÍSIMOS personajes y también con distintas cualidades y tipos que funcionan de peor o mejor forma dependiendo de los mapas en donde estemos jugando (sí, hay distintos mapas).

Honestamente no soy alguien que realmente le da mucha importancia si el desarrollador de un juego es alguien pequeño o una compañía multimillonaria, pero pensar en casos como el conocidísimo Scott Cawthon me hace recordar la increíble capacidad que tienen las personas.

Los monstruos tienen ciertas características que los benefician en ciertos mapas, pero también están divididos por clases. Teóricamente, mientras más alta su clase, sus estadísticas serán mejores. No recuerdo exactamente la clasificación, pero creo que se dividían en comunes, raros, épicos, legendarios, míticos y también especiales (que solo se pueden conseguir en eventos).

Yo jugué por bastantes horas mientras quería pasar el rato y farmee bastantes orbes para desbloquear nuevos monstruos. Supongo que tuve bastante suerte ya que en solo cofres normales obtuve monstruos legendarios, así que realmente me sentí bastante afortunado.

Cada partida está dividida por muchas rondas, y para completar un nivel debes llegar a cierta ronda. Esto es algo que no me gustó mucho, porque si pierdes en la ronda 49 (suponiendo que la meta es la ronda 50) tendrás que reiniciar la partida desde el principio o desde la ronda 30.

También hay hechizos que podemos usar a medida que las rondas avanzan. Supongo que tienen bastante utilidad, pero yo era todo un novato y los utilizaba muy de vez en cuando porque no sentía que realmente los necesitara XD.

¿Lo recomiendo?

Desde mi más sincera opinión: Sí.

No es que a mí me haya enamorado completamente, pero realmente me pareció un juego bastante completo dentro de lo que cabe. No es algo revolucionario ni mucho menos, pero creo que el esfuerzo colocado en este juego se nota, especialmente en los diseños de los personajes y también las imágenes promocionales de este juego.

Es gratis e increíblemente este juego no tiene anuncios invasivos ni mucho menos, solamente esporádicamente un "monitor" te visita y te ofrecerá ver un anuncio y puedes decidir verlo o no (si lo ves te dará alguna que otra recompensa).

Es la primera vez que pruebo un juego de esta forma, y la verdad es que no me arrepiento :)

Today when I woke up I checked a little bit my Facebook and I found the advertisement I show you above. I thought it was very original and I have already seen many similar ads for the same game, so I decided to finally give it a try and I must admit that I have had a lot of fun playing it so far.

The game took almost no space on my phone, so that's a big plus since it took me nothing to download the game and I also don't care much about having it on my device anyway.

Let's start with the review

The first thing that caught my attention was the general design of the whole game. The whole drawing seems to me very very cute and colorful, from the loading screen we have a glimpse of the main character: A little wizard with a red robe who is the summoner of all the monsters that we will use throughout the game. The main story basically is that this wizard steals a chest and the people of the royal castle will try to recover it and this is where we enter the Tower Defense mode.

The interface to play is pretty simple, and the best thing about it is that I'm 100% sure that the creator of this game speaks Spanish as there is even a specific community where there is a LOT of crazy tips and guides about this game. The Facebook group has about 30k active members and it's crazy how active that game is despite being something completely simple, Tower Defense style games usually aren't that active. The last Tower Defense game I played was Bloons Tower Defense Battles for Android and I must admit it was insane, one of the best games I played as a kid. Unfortunately hackers took over the online and the game stopped being fun (even I hacked the game XD).

At the beginning this game gives the feeling that it is quite complex to advance, but in reality, most of the game is automatic so I just have to sit back and watch my monsters attack enemies.

I found the design of the monsters to be quite cute, and I think for a small developer they have done a good job of keeping them cute and cuddly. I've seen other games where the character design is sad.

Just look at how this little fella looks, how can you not fall in love with him?

As I already told you, this game is a Tower Defense. People who are already familiar with this style of games will know that in terms of gameplay we won't have to do anything more than just watch and think of a good formation. Some Tower Defense games have different ways of playing, for example, in the case of Bloons TD we can add or remove monkeys at any time during the game as long as we have good economy. On the other hand, in Summoners Greed we only have to place a specific formation and that will be the formation that will last the whole game until we lose.

Within the game we will have green orbs that will allow us to unlock new monsters with new abilities and therefore much better. I am surprised that there are a LOT of characters and also with different qualities and types that work in a worse or better way depending on the maps where we are playing (yes, there are different maps).

Honestly I'm not someone who really gives much importance to whether the developer of a game is someone small or a multi-million dollar company, but thinking about cases like the well-known Scott Cawthon reminds me of the incredible capacity that people have.

Monsters have certain characteristics that benefit them on certain maps, but they are also divided by class. Theoretically, the higher their class, the better their stats will be. I don't remember exactly the classification, but I think they were divided into common, rare, epic, legendary, mythical and also special (which can only be obtained in events).

I played for quite a few hours as I wanted to pass the time and gleaned quite a few orbs to unlock new monsters. I guess I was pretty lucky since in just normal chests I got legendary monsters, so I really felt quite lucky.

Each game is divided by many rounds, and to complete a level you must reach a certain round. This is something I didn't like very much, because if you lose in round 49 (assuming the goal is round 50) you will have to restart the game from the beginning or from round 30.

There are also spells that we can use as the rounds progress. I guess they are quite useful, but I was quite a newbie and used them very occasionally because I didn't feel I really needed them XD.

Do I recommend it?

From my most sincere opinion: Yeah.

Not that I was completely in love with it, but I really found it to be a pretty complete game as far as I could tell. It's not revolutionary by any means, but I think the effort put into this game shows, especially in the character designs and also the promotional images for this game.

It is free and incredibly this game has no invasive ads, only sporadically a "monitor" will visit you and will offer you to watch an ad and you can decide to watch it or not (if you watch it, it will give you some reward).

It's the first time I try a game in this way, and the truth is that I don't regret it :)
