¡Hola a todos! Creo que este es mi primer post en la comunidad Geek Zone, pero, para esta ocasión quiero traer una pequeña review de unos audífonos que compré hace 1-2 semanas y hasta ahora no he dado mi opinión acerca de estos.

Quiero dar un par de puntos claves explicando por qué hice esta compra, así que comencemos por el tema principal:

La disponibilidad

Para el momento en el que compré los audífonos me encontraba en una especie de apuro porque ya tenía meses usando como micrófono mi teléfono mediante la aplicación WO Mic. A final de cuentas esto no era tan práctico porque ocasionaba pantallazos azules en mi PC y también el micrófono de mi teléfono no era "perfecto" para grabar.

Es por esto que un día salí con mi primo para buscar de una vez por todas unos audífonos que me permitieran grabar con mucha mejor calidad, y terminé consiguiendo estos audífonos.

Es la primera vez que escuchaba acerca de la conexión USB para los audífonos y honestamente no estaba del todo seguro, pero mi primo (quien también conoce bastante de estas cosas) me dijo que una conexión USB era igual e incluso mejor que algunas conexiones mediante jack (3.5mm).

Sumado a esto, algo que me gustó bastante de estos audífonos fue su diseño. Personalmente me gustan mucho los audífonos robustos y con una apariencia bastante resistente, por lo que esto fue un gran punto a favor cuando decidí comprarlos.

La marca

Otra de las cosas en las que me fijé apenas los consideré fue la marca, algo a lo que SIEMPRE presto muchísima atención.

Soy alguien que prefiere comprar cosas que garanticen una buena funcionalidad y estar seguro de que estaré recibiendo un buen producto, así que mi meta principal era conseguir unos Logitech G335. Unos audífonos que me enamoraron desde el primer momento que los vi y jamás he escuchado una mala reseña de ellos.

Y el diseño se ve hermoso en mi opinión.

¿Cierto que son bonitos?

La problemática fue saber que en la tienda donde creí que estarían, efectivamente no estaban. Fue una lástima porque parecía una tienda con bastante mercancía gaming, pero no tenían este modelo específico, ni siquiera un par de modelos anteriores.

Así que entre todas las opciones me fijé en esta marca llamada Havit solamente porque mi primo la sugirió. Resulta ser que hay algunos mouses gaming creados por la marca Havit, y mi primo me convenció de que no serían tan malos si los juzgamos por esa reputación.

Luego de dudar durante unos minutos y ver otras opciones, terminé cayendo en la tentación y los compré. Me sorprendió lo baratos que eran, pues, yo estaba dispuesto a gastar unos $50 ya que esto es el precio de los Logitech, pero estos Havit costaron alrededor de 20-25 USD. Soy alguien que asocia el precio con la calidad, y honestamente mis expectativas con estos audífonos eran realmente bajas porque el precio fue demasiado bajo, pero, el que no arriesga no gana, dirían por allí.

Como mencioné anteriormente, estos audífonos funcionan mediante USB y no mediante un jack convencional, por lo que fue un cambio bastante radical para mí ya que siempre he usado audífonos mediante el puerto jack.

Cuando los utilicé por primera vez fue un poco incómodo porque se sentía bastante peso en mi cabeza al mantenerlos por mucho tiempo, debo admitir que son ligeramente pesados. Luego de un par de horas simplemente me acostumbré y realmente han sido muy cómodos al utilizarlos.

Tienen una cancelación de ruido perfecta, básicamente no puedo escuchar nada del exterior si los estoy utilizando, y cuando no estoy escuchando música o jugando aún debo quitármelos para poder entender bien qué están diciéndome XD.

Algo que no me gustó del todo es el diseño del micrófono, parece algo bastante.. simple.

No lo sé, es básicamente un pequeño palillo saliendo del audífono y siento que es bastante frágil, por lo que suelo tratarlo con mucha delicadeza siempre que debo manipularlo, incluso a veces tengo miedo de darle un golpe con mi brazo sin querer y terminar rompiéndolo.

Pero a pesar de su simplicidad, me gustó muchísimo lo tan bien que se escucha en comparación a mi teléfono. De por sí el micrófono trae una especie de supresión de sonido, por lo que algunos sonidos de mi casa no se escuchan a pesar de no estar utilizando ningún software de supresión.

Y la calidad de este la he notado muchísimo más a la hora de grabar, pues me resulta mucho más cómodo y también puedo jugar con la ganancia del micrófono para esas ocasiones donde requiera modificar esto.

Estos audífonos también traen este pequeño controlador donde puedo activar y desactivar el micrófono y también puedo modificar el volumen de los audífonos desde aquí. Algo que leí mientras investigaba un poco acerca de los audífonos USB es que estos no requieren usar la tarjeta de audio de la placa base para funcionar, así que supongo que por esto es que se puede utilizar un controlador externo para modificar cosas como la intensidad del volumen.

Y hablando de controladores..

En el pequeño manual que venía incluido con los audífonos nos dejaron un enlace hacia la página web de Havit para instalar los controladores de los audífonos. La verdad es que no lo utilizo, pero hasta donde pude ver, tiene varias funciones que permiten modificar cosas relevantes a los audífonos, la ganancia del micrófono, la intensidad del sonido, e incluso modificadores de voz haha (algo así como Clownfish).

El diseño de las luces de los audífonos me gustó muchísimo también, estuve jugando un poco con la cámara de mi teléfono y modificando el ISO en distintas fotos para ver qué tan diferentes lucían los colores.

No son diferencias tan abismales, pero son relativamente perceptibles si te fijas bastante bien.

Mi conclusión

Hasta ahora, estos audífonos me han parecido una maravilla. A veces me impresiona lo fuerte que se puede escuchar en algunos programas sin perder la calidad del sonido (obviamente comienza a dañarse la calidad del sonido una vez pasados los 100% en programas como Discord). Hasta ahora me han dado una experiencia bastante buena, y mi único problema es relevante al diseño del micrófono (y que también se escuchaba un poco bajo cuando comencé a utilizarlos y por eso tuve que jugar con las configuraciones del micrófono).

Aún sigo relativamente exeptico con algunas cosas, pues hay que tomar en cuenta factores como la duración de la calidad de estos audífonos o también si realmente son del todo "resistentes", cosas que hasta ahora no he podido probar y prefiero probarlas a medida que pasa el tiempo.

¿Los recomiendo? Hasta ahora mi opinión es sí. Puede resultar extraño ver una conexión USB en unos audífonos, pero luego de haber investigado un poco por aquí y por allá, hasta ahora parece que pueden ser incluso mejores que las conexiones convencionales y que es algo relativamente normal.

Hey there! I think this is my first post in this community, for this occasion I want to bring a short review of some headphones that I bought 1-2 weeks ago and until now I haven't given my opinion about these.

I want to give a couple of key points explaining why I made this purchase, so let's start with the main topic:

Availability

By the time I bought the headphones I was in a bit of a hurry because I had been using my phone as a microphone for months using the WO Mic application. Ultimately this was not so practical because it caused blue screens on my PC and also my phone's microphone was not "perfect" for recording.

That's why one day I went out with my cousin to look once and for all for headphones that would allow me to record with much better quality, and I ended up getting these headphones.

This is the first time I heard about the USB connection for headphones and honestly I wasn't entirely sure, but my cousin (who also knows a lot about these things) told me that a USB connection was equal and even better than some jack (3.5mm) connections.

In addition to this, something I really liked about these headphones was their design. Personally, I really like robust headphones with a pretty rugged look, so this was a big plus when I decided to buy them.

The brand

Another thing I looked at as soon as I considered them was the brand name, something I ALWAYS pay a lot of attention to.

I am someone who prefers to buy things that guarantee good functionality and be sure that I will be getting a good product, so my main goal was to get a Logitech G335. These are headphones that I fell in love with from the first moment I saw them and I have never heard a bad review about them.

And the design looks beautiful imo.

The problem was to find out that in the store where I thought they would be, they were not. It was a pity because it looked like a store with quite a lot of gaming merchandise, but they didn't have this specific model, not even a couple of previous models.

So among all the options I looked at this brand called Havit only because my cousin suggested it. It turns out that there are some gaming mice created by the Havit brand, and my cousin convinced me that they wouldn't be that bad if we judge them by that reputation.

After hesitating for a few minutes and looking at other options, I ended up giving in to temptation and bought them. I was surprised at how cheap they were, as, I was willing to spend about $50 as this is the price of the Logitech's, but these Havit's cost around 20-25 USD. I am someone who associates price with quality, and honestly my expectations with these headphones were really low because the price was too low, but, he who does not risk does not win, they would say over there.

As I mentioned earlier, these headphones work via USB and not via a conventional jack, so it was quite a radical change for me as I have always used headphones via the jack port.

When I first used them it was a bit uncomfortable because it felt quite heavy on my head when holding them for a long time, I must admit they are slightly heavy. After a couple of hours I simply got used to it and they have actually been very comfortable to use.

They have perfect noise cancellation, I basically can't hear anything from outside if I'm wearing them, and when I'm not listening to music or playing games I still have to take them off so I can get a good understanding of what my family are saying to me XD.

One thing I didn't quite like is the design of the microphone, it looks like something quite... simple.

I don't know, it's basically a little stick sticking out of the earpiece and I feel like it's pretty fragile, so I tend to treat it very delicately whenever I have to handle it, sometimes I'm even afraid of hitting it with my arm unintentionally and end up breaking it.

But despite its simplicity, I really liked how well it sounds compared to my phone. The microphone itself comes with some sort of sound suppression, so some sounds in my house are not audible even though I'm not using any suppression software.

And I have noticed the quality of this one much more when recording, as it is much more comfortable and I can also play with the gain of the microphone for those occasions where I need to modify this.

These headphones also come with this little controller where I can turn the microphone on and off and I can also modify the volume of the headphones from here. Something I read while doing some research about USB headphones is that these do not require using the motherboard's audio card to work, so I guess this is why you can use an external controller to modify things like volume intensity of the volume.

And speaking of controllers (drivers)...

In the small manual that came with the headphones, they gave us a link to Havit's website to install the drivers for the headphones. The truth is that I don't use it, but as far as I could see, it has several functions that allow you to modify things relevant to the headphones, the microphone gain, the sound intensity, and even voice modifiers haha (something like Clownfish).

I really liked the design of the headphone lights too, I was playing a bit with my phone's camera and modifying the ISO on different photos to see how different the colors looked.

These are not such abysmal differences, but they are relatively noticeable if you look closely enough.

My conclusion

So far, I have found these headphones to be a marvel. Sometimes I'm impressed by how loud you can listen in some programs without losing sound quality (obviously the sound quality starts to deteriorate once you get past 100% in programs like Discord). So far they have given me a pretty good experience, and my only problem is relevant to the microphone design (and that they also sounded a bit low when I started using them and that's why I had to play with the microphone settings).

I'm still relatively skeptical about some things, as you have to take into account factors such as the durability of the quality of these headphones or also if they really are at all "resistant", things that so far I have not been able to test and I prefer to test them as time goes by.

Do I recommend them? So far my opinion is yes. It may seem strange to see a USB connection on headphones, but after doing a little research here and there, so far it seems that they may be even better than conventional connections and that it is a relatively normal thing to do.
