La verdad es que extrañé bastante este juego. Dejé de jugarlo ya que sentía que este juego lograba consumir muchísimo de mi tiempo y, también sentía que era bastante monótono jugar en solitario.

Hace 2 días @perceval y yo volvimos a revivir una idea que hemos tenido desde hace meses: Crear un servidor de Minecraft. Anteriormente he jugado Minecraft junto a él en servidores gratuitos y la experiencia no ha sido la mejor, así que terminamos abandonando.

En estos últimos 2 días hemos estado experimentando en un servidor pagado y debo admitir que estoy bastante feliz por la corta pero gratificante experiencia que estamos teniendo.

Al principio solo éramos @jotaunive, @perceval y yo probando qué tal funcionaba el ping del servidor. Al principio estábamos escépticos al respecto porque no confiábamos en que la conexión fuera la mejor, pero para nuestra sorpresa, el resultado fue muchísimo mejor de lo que esperábamos.

La conexión era increíble y el único fallo que había es que nuestro internet estaba MUY lento. A pesar de la lentitud de nuestro internet avanzamos lo suficiente como para conseguir los recursos básicos y sentir que avanzábamos un poco.

Mientras Perceval no estaba Jota invitó a un amigo argentino y ellos se fueron completamente lejos de nuestro hogar. Desde que empecé a jugar en el servidor jamás he visto el rostro de Jota ni de su amigo.

Lo único que sé es que no saben sobrevivir.

En ese instante murieron unas 10 veces, lol.

Yo he jugado unas más de 7 horas en el servidor porque me ha gustado mucho. Yo no soy tan creativo y no me dedico a la construcción, así que cosas estilo la casa o cualquier decoración eran trabajo de Perceval. Yo dediqué todo mi tiempo a buscar materiales importantes para avanzar en el juego, siempre que juego un survival (especialmente en modo hardcore) dedico la mayor parte del tiempo a las minas. Suelo pasar horas minando sin parar hasta conseguir x cantidad de diamantes o de hierro.

Algo que puede parecer raro es como unas de mis fotos tienen shaders activados mientras otras no, ¿por qué? Resumidamente: No me gusta jugar mucho tiempo con los shaders activos, al menos no dentro de las minas.

Los shaders que tengo no funcionan del todo bien cuando estoy en minas. Debido a la saturación de los colores y a la baja iluminación, las minas se ven muchísimo menos iluminadas de lo que realmente deberían, por lo que se me dificulta minar correctamente y sobre todo, olvido muy fácilmente los caminos por donde vengo.

Y debido a esto termino usando más antorchas de lo que necesario.

Tengo un montón de imágenes e historias por contar, pero honestamente, espero poder hacerlo dentro de poco. No quiero apresurar las cosas.

La verdad es que estoy bastante emocionado por las cosas que podremos hacer en este servidor. Hemos estado probando un montón de cosas y muchas personas del servidor de HiveGC también se han animado a ayudarnos para comprobar que todo funciona correctamente.

Cualquier persona es libre de entrar al servidor, pero por ahora estamos manejando y organizando las cosas mínimas en el servidor Discord, de hecho, si hablas español y estás en el canal de HiveGC, puedes revisar los mensajes pinneados en ese canal y allí encontrarás el link al servidor.

The truth is that I missed this game quite a lot. I stopped playing it as I felt that this game managed to consume a lot of my time and I also felt that it was quite monotonous to play alone.

2 days ago @perceval and I revived an idea we've had for months: Create a Minecraft server. I've previously played Minecraft together with him on free servers and the experience hasn't been the best, so we ended up giving up.

In these last 2 days we have been experimenting on a paid server and I must admit that I am quite happy for the short but rewarding experience we are having.

At the beginning it was just @jotaunive, @perceval and myself testing how the server ping was working. At first we were skeptical about it because we didn't trust that the connection was the best, but to our surprise, the result was much better than we expected.

The connection was amazing and the only glitch was that our internet was VERY slow. Despite the slowness of our internet we made enough progress to get the basic resources and feel like we were making some progress.

While Perceval was away Jota invited an Argentinian friend and they left completely far from our home. Since I started playing on the server I have never seen the face of Jota or his friend.

*The only thing I know is that they don't know how to survive.

At that instant they died about 10 times, lol.

I played about 7+ hours on the server because I liked it a lot. I'm not that creative and I'm not into building, so things like the house or any decoration were Perceval's job. I spent all my time looking for important materials to advance in the game, whenever I play a survival game (especially in hardcore mode) I spend most of my time mining. I usually spend hours mining non-stop until I get x amount of diamonds or iron.

Something that may seem strange is how some of my photos have shaders activated while others don't, why? Briefly: I don't like to play too long with shaders active, at least not inside mines.

The shaders I have don't work at all well when I'm in mines. Due to the saturation of the colors and the low illumination, the mines look much less illuminated than they really should, so it is difficult for me to mine correctly and above all, I forget very easily the paths where I come from.

And because of this I end up using more torches than necessary

I have a lot of images and stories to tell, but honestly, I hope to be able to do it before long. I don't want to rush things.

I'm actually quite excited about the things we will be able to do on this server. We've been testing a lot of things and a lot of people from the HiveGC server have also been willing to help us to check that everything is working properly.
