We now have electricity in the office and some part of Cebu City where our sites are located and after a long week of recovering from Super Typhoon Rai, I finally get in touch with my play-to-earn games. My P2E streams were put into hold for more than a week especially my Axie Teams/Scholars who are heavily affected by the typhoon. They don't have a stable internet for them to grind and electricity is still under restoration process in their respective areas. While my splinterlands bots are running the entire month, my Gods Unchained is totally halted from the previous Blessing of the Gods event I have joined in, garnering only 1 point for the entire week.

On chain cards

Nevertheless, I received a decent set of Order cards from GU weekly/monthly(not sure) event. These are my first on chain cards; they're minted on Immutable X chain. I don't know the value of each card but knowing these cards as part of the GU reward cards, they should have lesser value than of previous set packs. But what's more important is I don't think it's more necessary to fuse cards knowing I'll get minted cards just by joining specific events.

My first $GODS Tokens

Now, the tokens I've been waiting for. I was able to claim my first GODS tokens in the game after finishing the first 2 weeks of the BOTG event. I finished my 1st week with 2 points and the second one with 1 point only. In total, I was able to claim 8+ Gods tokens. As time of writing this, the price of GODS token is sitting at around $5 more or less. So that would be $40 worth of GODS.

GODS token can be used to purchase cards listed in Immutable X marketplace. It is also needed in fusing cards in the game aside from flux. Flux is obtainable in-game while GODS on market or events/airdrops.

Furthermore, these tokens are native to Immutable X chain only but they can be bridged to Ethereum network and ready for a fiat trade. Just like any other bridging tools on any other blockchain, bridging Immutable GODS to Ethereum network will cost you extra fees in ethereum. Knowing it's under ethereum network, it will be a tremendous fee.

What the community of GU gamers are doing to bypass the bridging process in extracting the value of the game, they sell their GODS peer to peer via online market in facebook groups and chats. These are very common in Filipino community of blockchain gaming. Almost every NFT gaming I've been with, there will always be 3rd party online market present and always founded by Filipino users.

Note that 3rd party online market are susceptible to scams and bogus trading.

If I'm not mistaken, this week is the final week of the BOTG event ending the 8-week event for GODS airdrop to players. Due to the recent happenings in our place I wasn't able to have a good jump start for the final week of the BOTG. Now, I only have less than a day to complete the requirements of the event. At least my goal is to get the Base points and Bonus Point #1. I wonder if I would be able to fill-in the requirements immediately given the remaining time. Also, most of my line-ups come from welcome set of cards which gave me a hard time winning in Astral Meteorite Rank.
