New Computer Purchased with Crypto
Yep, I did a thing today! Sometimes you just have to make a decision and pull the trigger. A 15% discount helped seal the deal so that was the push I needed to go ahead and buy it.
Moved some funds from Nexo to Coinbase in the form of USDC and used my new Coinbase card, which earns 4% back paid in XLM. Will be sending that XLM over to Nexo to earn that sweet interest.
As you can see, Brave browser was the first piece of software installed and set up with Hive Keychain, Metamask, and the Keplr wallet. Next up was the Exodus wallet and then started installing OBS, Final Cut, and Logic Pro X. Then had to change the wallpaper to something a bit more appropriate!
Really excited to get this new computer so I can start doing more video production and live streaming without my older computer getting in the way! Going to spend the next day or so getting some cool overlays setup for some live streaming!

It's cool that you bought it with crypto...how did you obtain the crypto in the first place-purchase or earn through work, etc?
All of it was earned from CubFinance and Hive as a matter of fact.

What development are you looking for? It’s all about content. Other than getting the services market place running, which is hopefully in the next month, there isn’t any more development to do.

Yeah I worked for them for about 8 years. Won’t have any other machine. Just glad the bottom levels finally have some balls, 😂 This M1 chip is pretty nice so far, but I haven’t really hit it hard yet. My 2015 MacBook Pro’s battery is about gone and it was like $400 to replace it. Still runs good, but has to be on power. Shoot my daughter is still running on a 2012 iMac that was a hand me down from my son, lol.
