Palkemon! - Unleash the Beast - Part four
Syndicate Thugs were holding a Pal captive in a nearby camp to when 477 was farming Pals and he didn't like the thugs one bit.. so a fight broke out but not only between them, some Pengullets were freezing the Thugs too which the help made this a lot quicker.
The battle was fierce and quick, victory was ensured after the Pengullet left standing attacked and was made short work of, before the Nox was released from the cell and into the encampment of 477 instead.
Next up on the list of tasks to perform was to face the Penking boss not related to a tower. Turns out it really is a lot stronger than thought to be, with Pengullet's helping, they were freezing 477 and Dinossum before defeating them both and sending them packing!
Raids seem to be of no short supply and tend to frequent more often when you return, after a decent time away from base, like this raid of fan girls or the Lovander pals that just want 477 for their loving but there was going to be no funny business happening here.
After this excitement some eggs were placed in the incubators to keep the Pal amount stored to grow, nothing much that was exciting would hatch from them though.. there was a Galeclaw flying Pal along with a second Fuddler which one had been hatched earlier on!
Excitement came back as a raid of wolfs and other things came. Seems to be more common than expected as this one was shortly after building a better workbench and more arrows.
But now things would get a whole lot more fun and interesting, also easier. A saddle for his captured Eikthyrdeer was crafter which would allow for a faster movement when exploring, but also to utilise the abilities in fights as a saddled Pal keeps getting stronger!
Further out into the beyond and amongst the western lands was a small settlement just nestled into some rocks and on a hill, providing two points of entry and a high level guard protecting this settlement.
Key points of interest include a Pal merchant that had Some cool Pals being sold with the cool ones being Tocotoco, look at some beautiful self destructing awesomeness!
But it couldn't be bought and that will be one for later.. for now it was to sell the Syndicate Thug captured earlier to get some nice bit of gold and just checking out the merchant, which sells some nice resources including pal spheres and arrows but right now 477 had enough.
In the coming days a lot of back and forth between base, resource nodes and Pals was complete. More ingots were made when the ore was smelted down, more arrows made for battle and capturing some Pals like Tombat and Tanzee occurred but the real good part this time..
The boss fight Chillet was started and oh was it a good fight due to the speed of its attacks and quicker movement, 477 was frozen solid and hurting bad while he tried to catch it.
A second attempt was required as he had died in the first one. But with some luck and enough pal spheres the Chillet boss was captured, successfully and was added to the party as soon as he got back to the base.
With this great boss capture of the quick and tough Chillet and having some small Pal souls collected, it was time for 477 to build the statue of power with good reason.
This statue allows the use of the Pal souls to boost the stats of whichever Pal you want, the boss versions are best but it is likely to be non-boss versions getting small boosts at times, just to make the party tougher until more bosses are defeated.
Without the Chillet saddle due to needing higher levels and then creating it, it was cool to watch the newest Pal take action against some Chikipi's to watch what it is like.
All wins and gained experience is necessary to speed up how quickly it will level and be a big hitter.
Things were really starting to pick up now. A lot of building, crafting, resource collecting and some more fighting was done before the Sphere Factory was built to allow crafting the Mega spheres now, something that will give a big increase in the chance of catching Pals, followed by getting that Chillet saddle as a priority!
This would be enough for now as the next part is riding the beast into battle and having some fun!

A controversial game that has been calling me since it came out hahaha, controversial because of the conflicting opinions with Pokémon, but looking at the post, I realize that it has little to do with it, even though the monsters try to look alike. I would like to purchase it through Steam at a discount and see how much it is worth it. Greetings and thanks for sharing!
Haha yeah there is a lot of controversy but it's addicting for a while and fun to play, this is coming from a Pokemon fan of 27 odd years since I was a kid that had his Pokemon book, watched the show and waited to get a hold of the original games!
Yeah I got it on Gamepass because it still had a lot of good things going for it despite being some updates behind Steam and if I wanted to play other games too, I could. Of course Palworld took me over haha!
