Let's play Resident Evil: Village - Castle Dimitrescu is beauty but terrifying
Time to explore and brace for terror
As I enter Castle Dimitrescu and and first see some beautiful artwork and furniture as a greeting to the castle, a sense of dread and fear sets in, I know that things are going to start getting terrifying in this place and pretty quickly.
A little bit of exploring around and finding some vases that can be broken and hold items in them, handy for stocking up on small bits of what I need. Hopefully not just money will be found in them, ammo and items will be nice too.
Not too much further in and things got a lot more interesting.. when I was surprised by the three daughters of Lady Dimitrescu with them coming in with their what looks to be locust form or little bats. When their mother came to me to talk and show me a lesson for escaping the dungeon, from Heisenberg, it seemed like she was a vampire with how she sucked the blood out of my hands open wound to enjoy it.
She had lifted me onto some hooks so I would be sticking around until she is ready to come back and play with me some more. Damn well not, it is something I was getting out of there and away from right after I take a crimson glass that I think I will need.
Sometimes you just have to check out the fireplace which ends up bringing you to a crawl space tunnel into another location of the castle, just nearby to where I was.
I kept collecting more items that will be usable for unlocking and progressing, through further parts in the castle which is always a great thing to. You always need puzzles, back tracking and hard work that pays off in Resident Evil games!
The big open room with the double doors likely leading out, was now having four statue pedestal things in it that likely, might need something put into them to activate.
When I continued around the castle to keep admiring the beauty of such an elegant and stunning place, some more handgun ammo and money was found but stayed uneventful at the moment, giving me time to get onto the second floor for a look over the balcony at the lovely view.
I kept exploring the various rooms I was able to get into.. cautious and wary of what fights I would be getting into and unsure when they would happen, but more ammo and items were found along with getting a bit more of an idea, of how this part of the castle looks and feels.
When going back to the room with a typewriter so I could save, the Duke had appeared in order to help me by offering to buy and sell once again or for me to upgrade my weapons further.
Luckily I could sell a few items to give a lot of Lei for use, 6400 to be exact and use it I did!
The handgun power was upgraded so it would take less bullets to kill my enemies and gives better piece of mind.
The eye piece I picked up previously and wondered where it fit. Well it went into this door that had an empty eye socket, allowing it to be opened now and things took a worse turn for me.
With that I was now being attacked by one of the daughters because it started with the bugs attacking me before she got all up in my face!
I had to move about quite a bit and dodge her attacks, when able to.. I got a good shotgun shell blasted into her, but eventually I was forced to go down a level to now wonder, what else can I expect from down here?
Lady Dimitrescu was in the room I was heading to so I was cautious and waiting in my little hole. Eventually she had left and I could hop out to find some handgun ammo and decide, I needed to take some time to compose what I have seen and experienced before I continue on.
