Woww, I am so far behind in this game. Steam says March 10, 2019 was my last play time and they were just starting to unveil some pretty cool mechanics.
I found Path of Exile easy to zone out to and decompress from long days and to be honest, kinda gave me that oldschool Diablo 2 feel a bit more than Diablo 3 ever did, whoops!

Quite a few things have changed since than.
I took a year break from the game and had so much to return to and enjoy.
I love this, actually. When I do get some vacation time next year I'm planning on a game-grind staycation instead of going anywhere and may give this a go again for that exact reason. It will likely be like a brand new game to me by then!
