My Introduction Post

Hey people!

My name is Uko Chukwunonso or Nonso for short. I am a 20 year old Nigerian male and I am really excited to finally make my intro post on Hive. Read more and get to know me... 😉

About Nonso

I am a student in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I used to be a Vet student but I changed my major to Pure Mathematics so it's safe to say I'm a Math geek and a good looking one if I may add. I have loved math ever since I was a child and I really hope to advance my educational career up to the doctorate level.

Against the popular belief about Math geeks like me, I am an outgoing person and I have a lot of friends. I try my best to balance my professional life, social life and personal life. I like to go out for parties but I can get serious when I need to. I am really easygoing. I love to hang out with my friends just laughing and having a good time.

I like to spend time on social media especially on SnapChat where I goof off with my camera a lot. It helps me deal with the anxiety of life in general.

I also like Instagram a lot. I used to be consistent on the app but I deleted most of my pictures. Here are a few of them;

Animals are really precious to me. I love both wild animals and pets but for now I'm sticking to pets. I get along with pets very easily. I understand them and they understand me. I have a pet cat that I'd do anything for. Her name is Nala.

I also really love music. I like to diversify my musical taste. I love to sing and play instruments. As a child, I would normally beat surfaces to the rhythm of a song and I was pretty good at it. Getting older, I started to play the drums but then I shifted focus to specialize on the Piano. I also play the guitar and the saxophone but not so well.

I am a sports person. I like to workout and participate in sports competitions. I love and play soccer. I can play 8 or 9 on the field but I can also run the right wing if I need to.

My main sport is actually Basketball. I started playing basketball in 2014 but I excelled quickly at the game. It feels like I was born to play Bball.

I really love movies and series. I love to pick quotes from movies. I also love anime. Two of my favorite anime right now are Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen.

How I discovered Hive and what I'm here for

Funny story. I have known about Hive since 2020. I have been on Steemit for a while but I joined after the fork. I have done a lot on Steemit including serving as a Professor in a Crypto Academy. My quest to discover more decentralized communities led me here.

I will be sharing different types of content here on hive. I would make posts about movies, crypto, pets, sports, photography, games and so on as long as I'm able to add quality to the Hive Blockchain.
