My visit to my school fish farm

So, I had practical in school today which was held in the school farm. I got to the farm very early as 9am so that I will be able to meet up and also stay 8nfront to enable me hear what will be taught on 5he farm and also see that will be shown to us.

This farm is mainly for we the agricultural student so we could visit the farm at any point in time so long we have a genuine reason to visit.. Today was for fish farm visitation and so, I was shown the segment of concrete ponds that were created on the farm and also the inlet and outlet of the pond..

The pond has a covering which is done with a light net to keep the fishes away from predators that might want to pry on them especially when they are still small.

The other one you see in the picture, is the incubator for hatching fish. There are just two types of fish species in the pond which are the tilapia and the cat fish according to the market demand.

The pond is of 3 segment which has fishes stocked in it and the segment has stages of fishes in it according to their aga. It was a stressful but yet a fun time at the farm today and I hope to share more information about the game with us all whenever I go there.
