It seemed to sneak up on everyone this year, but today is/was MOTHER'S DAY! I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to all the mothers here in the #Hive community.

So yeah... Happy Mother's Day!

I tend to take my content way too seriously-- I always want to flesh out substantial ideas and make it PERFECT-- so I miss golden opportunities like this one to just reach out and say "Hello!" and to show some appreciation to good people on their designated occasions.

You know what I'm saying?

Anyone who raises decent humans AND has the motivation and the facility to get involved in the #Hive ecosystem has my vote for 21st Century Super-Mom. That's for damn sure!

I apologize for not knowing the parental status of more #Hivians though, but that's why I chose to post it in the Motherhood (Parenting) community. I haven't posted here before, and I hope it's okay.

My own mom isn't on here... but my lady friend, @kpfreelance, is and she has three beautiful daughters. So Happy Mother's Day! (I already told her in person, just for the record. 😉 And I got a few small gifts and a card for my own mother, so I got all my bases covered. Phew! lol)

I'll try to include more moms next year once I start keeping better track. Leave a comment if you're a Hive #mom and I'll make sure you're there.

I am a father myself, which awards me my own day not too far down the road... so enjoy the spotlight while it lasts. The tables will turn. (Muahaha!)

I wouldn't dare sully this most excellent day with shades of any other... so let it be known that I was here and I heaped loads of (appropriate) love on the wonderful Hivian mothers we have around us.

(I'm an idiot. I know this, and yet the smart-assery just keeps flowing from brain to blog. It's impressive, really... I surprise even myself with the depth of this ridiculous well. ⛲️)
