Para mí hablar de mi padre siempre ha sido como los niños cuando veían su serie favorita de superhéroes y no es precisamente porque físicamente ya no está conmigo desde hace más de 4 años, sino porque eso significó para mí; el que siempre estaba en cualquier momento de mi vida con un carácter hiper fuerte pero estaba siempre allí, Gracias a él soy la persona que actualmente soy.

For me, talking about my father has always been like children watching their favorite superhero series and it is not precisely because he has not been with me physically for more than 4 years, but because that is what he meant to me; the one who was always there at any time of my life with a hyper strong character but he was always there, thanks to him I am the person I am today.

Memories? Uff, thousands of them captured in photographs and not to mention in my memory.

Hablar de Alfredo Parra (ese era su nombre) es hablar de rectitud, de valores, de buenos principios, pero sobre todo de amor y respeto.

Yo siempre noté en cualquier casa donde llegábamos de la familia el amor y el respeto que había en Jesús hermanos aún siendo él uno de los mayores.

Su ausencia ha marcado mucho mi vida no hay manera de poder dejar de sentirlo en cualquier época del año siempre que veo sus fotos le recuerdo que nos volveremos a encontrar, quizás lo que más me duele es no haber podido estar allí para despedirme porque mi padre aún con su enfermedad siempre siempre me decía yo estoy bien y ese día que decidí viajar porque ya lo sentía muy apagadito vía telefónica no me esperó; horas antes de mi viaje se fue al plano espiritual, no hay un solo instante de mi vida que no lo recuerde y hoy en día puedo decir que mis hermanos y yo somos lo que somos gracias a ese par de viejos que lo dieron todo por crear buenos hijos y buenas personas.

His absence has marked my life a lot, there is no way to stop feeling him at any time of the year, whenever I see his pictures I always remember him that we will meet again, perhaps what hurts me the most is not being able to be there to say goodbye because my father, even with his illness, always told me I am fine and that day I decided to travel because I already felt him very dull via telephone, he did not wait for me; Hours before my trip he went to the spiritual plane, there is not a single moment of my life that I do not remember him and today I can say that my brothers and I are what we are thanks to that pair of old men who gave everything to create good children and good people.

Sé que no todas las relaciones entre padre e hijo son las mejores, lo que sí puedo decirles es que vivan vivan cada momento porque eso es lo que queda.
