No sé si les había comentado que en la institución donde trabajo estamos de aniversario esta semana por celebrar el Día Internacional del síndrome de Down, el cual justamente se celebra el día 21 de marzo por ser este día el número del cromosoma 21 el cual es el protagonista de los portadores de esta condición especial.
I don't know if I had told you that in the institution where I work we are celebrating this week the anniversary of the International Down Syndrome Day, which is celebrated on March 21st because this day is the number of chromosome 21, which is the protagonist of the carriers of this special condition.
Nuestra población estudiantil consta de 134 jóvenes entre 15 años y más, con compromiso cognitivo; entre los cuales tenemos 18 niños con Síndrome de Down, pero para ellos y para nosotros es solo una condicion ya que son los niños mas adorados del mundo, que nadie sabe lo bien que se trabaja con ellos hasta que le toca.
Our student population consists of 134 young people between 15 years and older, with cognitive compromise; among which we have 18 children with Down Syndrome, but for them and for us it is only a condition because they are the most adored children in the world, nobody knows how well we work with them until it is their turn.
El día de hoy tuvimos en nuestro colegio un Taller de Globos en las instalaciones de nuestra cancha deportiva; a cargo de @adridelpretty el cual se trasladaron gustosamente con todo su equipo y el material de trabajo para divertir a nuestros jóvenes especiales con su excelente trabajo.
Today we had a Balloon Workshop in our school in the facilities of our sports field; in charge of @adridelpretty which gladly moved with all their equipment and work material to entertain our special young people with their excellent work.
Está actividad es parte del programa de nuestra Coordinadora de Cultura; la Licenciada Neyda Pino la cual estuvo muy colorida por la cantidad de globos y a su vez muy divertida ya que nuestros jóvenes estaban animados y alegres;la verdad en las fotografías se pueden apreciar su cara de felicidad y lo bien que la pasamos ya que me incluyo en lo que disfrute con ellos.
This activity is part of the program of our Culture Coordinator, Neyda Pino, which was very colorful because of the amount of balloons and at the same time very funny because our young people were lively and cheerful; the truth in the pictures you can see their happy faces and how much fun we had because I include myself in what I enjoyed with them.
