¡Hola a todos! Viendo el blog de @Pigritia me han dado muchas ganas de dibujar. Trate de hacer una pequeña aguada de mi nuevo personaje favorito, Hua Cheng de Tian Guan Ci Fu (Heaven Official´s Blessin).
Hello everyone! Seeing @Pigritia blog has made me want to draw a lot. I tried to do a little gouache of my new favorite character, Hua Cheng from Tian Guan Ci Fu (Heaven Official's Blessin).
En el proceso las cosas no salieron como esperaba porque realmente estoy oxidada y tengo problemas para mantener las proporciones cuando comienzo a pintar con colores. ¡No soy buena con los colores! Siempre pinté en blanco & negro, pero mi Hua Chengzhu siempre viste de rojo 🩸 🩸 🩸
In the process things didn't turn out as I expected because I'm really rusty and have trouble keeping proportions when I start painting with colors. I'm not good with colors! I always painted in black & white, but my Hua Chengzhu always wears red 🩸 🩸 🩸

Primero hice un boceto, guiándome por esta imagen que conseguí en Pinterest. A este personaje lo llaman “Crimson Rain Sought Flower” (Xue Yu Tan Hua), y que sostenga un paraguas es súper distintivo ☂

Borré algunas de las líneas originales y deje solo las guías antes de comenzar a aplicar las acuarelas “en seco”, no mojé el papel porque como hace mucho tiempo que no dibujo ni pinto, me es más fácil controlar el pigmento de esta manera.
I erased some of the original lines and left only the guides before starting to apply the watercolors "dry", I did not wet the paper because since I have not drawn or painted for a long time, it is easier for me to control the pigment this way.
Cuando terminé de aplicar las acuarelas, espere a que se secaran y delinee varias partes con marcador gris, rojo, anaranjado y negro. Finalmente utilice lápiz B2 y B6 para agregar detalles al cabello.
When I finished applying the watercolors, I waited for them to dry and outlined various parts with grey, red, orange and black marker. Finally I used B2 and B6 pencil to add details to the hair.
Esta súper messy y lamento haber dañado las proporciones, sin quererlo le rebane el torso al pobre Hua Cheng 😅 Quise empezar con algo fácil y admito que en el proceso hice lo que quise sin preocuparme mucho; me gusta mucho dibujar cabello, y en ello, se me olvido inclusive ponerle su característica trenza con perla roja, y su joyería plateada 🙃
It's super messy and I'm sorry I messed up the proportions, I inadvertently sliced poor Hua Cheng's torso 😅 I wanted to start with something easy and I admit that in the process I did what I wanted without worrying too much; I really like drawing hair, and in that, I even forgot to put his characteristic braid with red pearl, and his silver jewelry 🙃
La próxima vez lo hare mejor, usare un formato más grande, y probablemente solo marcadores para colorear, porque mientras no compre pinceles para acuarelas solo tengo algunas brochitas viejas de maquillaje para pintar (シ_ _)シ
Next time I will do better, I will use a bigger format, and probably only markers for coloring, because as long as I don't buy watercolor brushes I only have some old makeup brushes for painting (シ_ _)シ

Hace mucho tiempo que no publicaba en esta comunidad, quiero dibujar más pero el tiempo apenas me alcanza para lo necesario estos días. De todos modos, siempre es reconfortante saber que existe este espacio para compartir sin presión estas practicas de dibujo (*＾▽＾)／

Me alegro que te dieran ganas de dibujar, siempre he pensado que tienen un gran talento para ello, vuelvo y te repito se te da bien los colores, en especial la acuarela nwn manejas mucho mejor las capaz. Quiero ser como tu cuando sea grande.
Por otro lado ame lo bello que te quedo el post, las imagenes, los separadores, la manita arreglada y combina con el con Hua Cheng.

I looooove your painting. I find it so hard to use watercolour. I either sketch or use acrylics or sometimes marker. I love how watercolours look on a painting, but I find it so hard to get anything right with them.
So honestly I cannot see the faulty proportions or any mistakes you are talking about. I think your painting is light and dynamic and the contrast between Ruhe black and the red lends it an amazing dramatic. Everything you did came together perfectly.
