La poción maldita (Esp-Eng)
Darío era un hombre de edad madura que vivía solo, nunca se había casado ya que no había tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo, siempre repitiéndose a sí mismo "no tengo tiempo para esas pequeñas cosas".
Él era un científico y vivía encerrado en su casa, dónde tenía un grandioso laboratorio. Pasaba los días y las noches sin comer y sin dormir sin percatarse de ello. Su casa era oscura llena de polvo y telarañas, las ventanas cerradas todo el tiempo no daban paso a la luz del sol ni al aire fresco. Pero en cambio su magnífico laboratorio, era todo lo contrario, tenía una gran iluminación, aire acondicionado e impecable limpieza, en eso sí era precavido Darío.
Trabajaba incesantemente en un experimento que según él, iba a causar una gran conmoción en el mundo de las ciencias experimentales, es por ello que no paraba ni un instante, solo cuando se sentía muy débil reaccionaba y paraba para comer, asearse y dormir.
Así pasaban los días, semanas y meses en la vida de Darío y tanta fue su obsesión por tener el resultado final de su experimento, que cayó en un estado deplorable de abandono, su rostro demacrado por la falta de alimentación y descanso, se cubrió de vello facial y su cabello era largo y despeinado y así todo su cuerpo por la falta de aseo, ni hablar del laboratorio, que de ser un sitio impecable paso a ser un lugar con poca luz, sucio y descuidado.
Pero llegó el grandioso día que Darío estaba esperando, su gran experimento estaba listo para ser probado, no podía contener su euforia y comenzó a dar gritos de alegría y satisfacción, tenía lista la poción que al beberla lo teletransportaría.
Así que inmediatamente y sin pensarlo dos veces se sentó, tomó un trago de esta poción y cerró los ojos. Para su sorpresa al abrirlos se encontraba en una de las habitaciones de la casa, su alegría fue tan grande, que decidió bañarse y asearse para después ir al instituto de ciencias experimentales que ya sabían de su trabajo y estaban esperando por él.
Al día siguiente, estando rodeado de un grupo de científicos, se sentó, bebió un trago de su poción, cerro los ojos y al abrirlos estaba en el mismo lugar. No había ocurrido nada, después de intentarlo un par de veces más con el mismo resultado, salió del lugar sin decir palabra alguna y sin escuchar a sus colegas.
Llegó a casa muy confundido, humillado, triste y a la vez furioso. Cómo no tuvo resultados positivos en los días venideros de pruebas y pruebas decidió viajar y dejar todo aquello atrás.
Estando en la playa de una isla paradisíaca, conoció a una mujer muy encantadora de nombre Susana y lograron entablar una gran amistad que se convirtió en una bonita relación amorosa.
Pasaban los días y Susana empezó a notar un cambio en Darío, un comportamiento extraño, el cuerpo se le estaba cubriendo de pelo y hasta su rostro estaba tomando una rara forma. Él decidió volver a casa de inmediato y prohibió a Susana que lo siguiera, ella muy triste sin saber que ocurría decidió no hacerle caso.
Un día se presentó en casa de Darío y después de tocar la puerta y llamarlo infinidad de veces no logró nada, se marchó y volvió después con un cerrajero, este quito la cerradura de la puerta y se marchó ella entró y llegó al deplorable laboratorio, no veía a Darío por ningún lado pero escuchaba su voz, él le contó toda la historia del experimento fallido.
También le contó con voz muy triste que esa mañana que el fue a buscar la poción para ir al instituto, encontró una rata dentro de esta, se llenó de furia y se culpaba por su descuido, pero igual saco al animal del recipiente, y se marchó sin darle importancia, pero como consecuencia de esto, la poción cambió de teletransportación a fusión.
Esta se hizo a largo plazo, por eso no hubo ningún cambio en el momento. Susana muy impactada por lo que acababa de escuchar, le pidió a Darío que saliera para verlo, este no quería y le dijo que no le iba a gustar lo iba a ver, pero ella insistió tanto que él salió.
Susana no vio a Darío por ninguna parte, solo vio una rata gigante ante sus ojos, empezó a gritar y a retroceder para escapar de ese monstruo, pero la voz de Darío que salía del animal la hizo comprender todo lo que le había explicado. Él le pidió que se fuera y que se olvidara de él porque era peligroso, pero ella no quería hacerlo, quería acompañarlo en su dolor.
De pronto ese animal tan dócil se convirtió en una fiera y se lanzó sobre Susana, en ese momento entró la policía y le dispararon, él retrocedió y se abalanzó sobre ellos que le dispararon hasta que cayó muerto.
Susana Impresionada y en un ataque de llanto fue sacada del lugar y le preguntó a los oficiales de la policía cómo era que habían llegado a tiempo, ellos contestaron, que minutos antes habían recibido una llamada de auxilio, por el ataque de una fiera.

But his magnificent laboratory, on the other hand, was quite the opposite, with great lighting, air conditioning and impeccable cleanliness.
He worked incessantly on an experiment that, according to him, was going to cause a great commotion in the world of experimental sciences, that is why he did not stop for a moment, only when he felt very weak he reacted and stopped to eat, wash and sleep.
So the days, weeks and months passed in Dario's life and so much was his obsession to have the final result of his experiment, that he fell into a deplorable state of abandonment, his face emaciated by the lack of food and rest, was covered with facial hair and his hair was long and unkempt and so all his body for the lack of cleanliness, not to mention the laboratory, which from being an impeccable place became a place with little light, dirty and neglected.
But the great day that Dario was waiting for arrived, his great experiment was ready to be tested, he could not contain his euphoria and began to shout with joy and satisfaction, he had ready the potion that would teleport him when he drank it.
So immediately and without thinking twice he sat down, took a drink of this potion and closed his eyes. To his surprise when he opened them he was in one of the rooms of the house, his joy was so great that he decided to bathe and clean himself and then go to the Institute of Experimental Sciences that already knew of his work and were waiting for him.
The next day, surrounded by a group of scientists, he sat down, drank a sip of his potion, closed his eyes and when he opened them he was in the same place. Nothing had happened, after trying a couple more times with the same result, he left the place without saying a word and without listening to his colleagues.
He arrived home very confused, humiliated, sad and at the same time furious. As he had no positive results in the coming days of tests and trials, he decided to travel and leave it all behind.
While on the beach of an island paradise, he met a very charming woman named Susana and they struck up a great friendship that turned into a beautiful love relationship.
Days passed and Susana began to notice a change in Dario, a strange behavior, his body was getting covered with hair and even his face was taking a strange shape. He decided to return home immediately and forbade Susana to follow him, she was very sad, not knowing what was happening, she decided to ignore him.
One day she went to Dario's house and after knocking on the door and calling him many times she got nowhere, he left and returned later with a locksmith, he removed the lock from the door and left, she went inside and arrived at the deplorable laboratory, she did not see Dario anywhere but she heard his voice, he told her the whole story of the failed experiment.
He also told her in a very sad voice that that morning when he went to get the potion to go to the institute, he found a rat inside it, he was filled with rage and blamed himself for his carelessness, but he still took the animal out of the container, and left without giving it any importance, but as a consequence of this, the potion changed from teleportation to fusion.
This was done in the long term, so there was no change at the time. Susana, very shocked by what she had just heard, asked Dario to go out to see him, he did not want to and told her that he would not like what he was going to see, but she insisted so much that he went out.
Susana did not see Dario anywhere, she only saw a giant rat in front of her eyes, she started to scream and to go back to escape from that monster, but Dario's voice coming out of the animal made her understand everything he had explained to her. He asked her to leave and forget about him because he was dangerous, but she did not want to do it, she wanted to accompany him in his pain.
Suddenly that docile animal turned into a beast and threw himself on Susana, at that moment the police came in and shot him, he backed up and jumped on them and they shot him until he fell dead.
Susana impressed and in a fit of tears was taken from the place and asked the police officers how they had arrived in time, they replied, that minutes before they had received a call for help, by the attack of a wild beast.
