As I sit here and ponder
The love that we once shared
I realize that it's over
And my heart is left bared
The pain cuts like a knife
As I try to mend this broken soul
But I know that I must move on
And let you go
I thought our love would last forever
But forever isn't always true
I must accept that it's over
And start a life anew
So goodbye, my love, and farewell
I'll always cherish the memories we made
But now it's time for me to move on
And find a love that won't fade
The night being long
The days by gone
We've gone through lots
The days were tough
Everything went rough
We had to figure we were tough
The incompatibility,
Seems you're the only one that saw it
But anyways who am I to not drop it
The pain, the silent cries
I wished it was all gonna be over
maybe it was meant to be over this way
I found peace in your arms but you felt pain holding me
I wanted more but you wanted none
I tried if you'll come back but my pleas went on deaf ears
You shut down on me
I tried but my trails were in vain
Meeting you was the best thing ever
But when you changed it became the worst thing ever
I wish I could turn the hands of time
I'm drawn to you in so many ways but letting you go would be great
For the mental health of the two of us
I'll move on without pain.
Just a fictional heartbreak poem
