Running an Errand ...

I had to run some errands today and since it's Wednesday, I thought that I might as well share some photos. Well, I'm just going to the nearby pharmacy which is also kind of a convenience store to inquire something and also buy some stuff.

It's really near, but it's quite a nice change to staying all day at home.

Since the walk is quite short, let's start from here.
The people who own the lot near our entrance tried to fenced their property. We were given a tiny space to get into the main road. Recently, our community official helped us fix the way, so some motorcycles and people can pass easily. I'd talk about it in a separate post.

On to the main road!
There are still some small puddles from the rain last night. Good thing it became quite sunny when I went out for my errand. Sometimes, the puddle would be bigger that I'd have to jump over it.

They're going to build something on the vacant lot on the left, so they're moving the concrete cylinders on the other side. That building in front sells building and construction products. It's the landmark we usually use. haha

I don't know why but the road was a little busy this morning. It's usually empty when I go out, so we had to wait for a long time to get a ride. It was indeed quite sunny, but it rained pretty hard this afternoon. As I'm writing this, the sky is pretty cloudy so we couldn't see any stars in the sky. T_T

For some reasons, someone planted some luffa on the side of the road. I wonder if there are some luffa underneath those jungle-like vines. It isn't well-maintained, unfortunately. You can see a lot of grass and weeds growing under it.

Crazy electric and/or telephone wires we got here. I wonder which of them are still working. One problem here is that even though the connection is cut off, they just leave the wires be. It's so messy and dangerous given that some huge trucks pass by this small road.

That person must have seen me pointing the camera in their direction. lol That shop is called "carinderia" in our language. It's a small local eatery where you can buy a variety of viands. If we don't feel like cooking, we can just buy some food here. I miss their previous cook, though. She was so much better than the cook now. (Shhh.. that's a secret!)


My destination is the building next to this eatery. There's a pharmacy and/or convenience store below. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I decided to take a "tricycle" (local transportation in my area) and went to the supermarket, instead.
