A Start of My Regular Wednesday Walks... (I hope!)

Before the pandemic happened, I used to go for a walk or go jogging every Saturday or Sunday morning. They're usually when I take a day off, so I'd have enough time. It stopped when the pandemic happened and I didn't restart doing it even until now.

I've shared some posts on this community a couple times before when I had to run an errand on a Wednesday, but those are quite rare. So, I decided to actually wake up earlier every Wednesday and go for a walk or jog again just like before. It would be nice to share my experience here and going for a walk on a weekday is so much better. There are less people. Well, it's impossible to do so on weekends since I have classes early in the morning.

I woke up around 4:30 in the morning. Good thing it wasn't raining anymore. I just went with papa this time, but hopefully mama and Arashi could come with us next Wednesday. It was still quite cold, so I wore my jacket and baggy shorts.. papa doesn't really feel the cold that much. haha

It was a quarter to five when we headed out. As it's still pretty early, most of the establishments were still closed, but the road is bright, so it's all good. We chose the longer route going to our destination today.

The small market in our barangay is already alive, though. There were already some vendors and in just several minutes, the fish vendors would have arrived in this place, too. I guess they start around five or half past five?

We're now on the main road going to the capital of our city, Poblacion. Sorry for the blurry photo, I took it while walking and night mode was still activated. XD

This is one of the main public elementary schools in my city. We passed by the high school building before this, but my photo was too crappy because the place was dark, unlike this one. Classes would start again soon... perhaps next week? So, if we happen to pass by this area again next week, there would already be some students for the earlier morning class.

The sky is getting brighter already. I checked the time for sunrise the night before and it was at around 5:30. I wanted to see it, but I wasn't that hopeful because of the heavy rain last night. The weather forecast was even for rain this morning, but I'm glad it didn't rain at all.

We reached Poblacion and our destination is behind this college. This is where I took DPE (Diploma for Professional Education) a few years back. It was a busy yet fun back to school for me two years after finishing my undergrad.

It's our city's old plaza. It's smaller than the one near the city hall, but I also like it here. I'll take more photos of the plaza next time. :)

And yes... this is our destination. :)
I wanted to see the sunrise and feel the cool sea breeze.

As I expected, it was indeed cloudy, so we couldn't see Mr. Sun. Hopefully, we'd get to see the sunrise next time. The sunrise from this area is so beautiful... Despite that, I enjoyed looking at the calm sea and the ships from afar. The sound of the waves was also really relaxing. Definitely one of my favorite sounds. It's so therapeutic.

My eyebags are awful! Slept only for a couple of hours... haha xD

We stayed here for a while before heading back home. It was nice first Wednesday walk for papa and I.

We took the shorter route home because the main or longer route is already busy around this time. There's also a longer seaside route, but it rained last night, so it would be quite difficult to pass. We'll take that one next time, so I could show you other scenery and places, too. :)

We had to jump over these puddles again to reach home. We've seen worse, though. Anyway, that's it for our Wednesay walk this week. I hope to continue doing this next week, too. It would be a nice exercise and an a healthy stress relief.

Thanks for checking it out. Time to work! See you next time!!!! (^^,)/

My pleasure... :)
It's a great chance and motivation to go for a walk again.
I couldn't see the sun earlier because it was cloudy, but hopefully next time I can share a better sunrise photo. ^^

That's a nice walk and exercise. I can wake up at 4:30 pero not sure if kakayanin ko mag jog din. Thats also what I want to do talaga ee. I really needed that, kaso, aigooo. I also want a kasama sana haha. Kaso mga oldies na kasama ko sa bahay so I can't have a kasama to jog, huhu
