Hello Friends. This is my officially first video showing the creation of my works. Today, I created this painting of the legendary Spanish Artist Salvador Dalì as a tribute to the legend. This is the second painting I'll be making using traditional methods and its been amazing so far learning to paint on my own. Although I've been getting inspiration from works of renowned artists like Voka and so felt Dalì was perfect oir my second trial. I used acrylic paints, charcoal pencil and Windsor& Newton Sketch Pad for this Painting

The Charcoal was used to outline Dalì's face and as a guide when painting. I also used the charcoal to finish up the painting by shading darker areas and adding details (What an Amateur😄)

I'm really impressed with the painting and it looks more appealing than in photos. Although the piece took quite alot of paint, I would keep practicing so I can get better soon.

Please pardon the crudeness of the video, I also hope to get better at creating videos soon. Thank you so much for checking it out. ♥️♥️!

Creativity at its peak, I love the blending of the colors.

The fact that you can draw and have the art sense would make any medium you try out work perfectly as first try, Weldon brother

I had watch your works on Noisecash (and subscribed) for some time. In the beginning, I thought that you are using some program for your ink drawings ;-)
Now I can see you doing it, and I'm just impressed.
Great work, THX for sharing it.

Thank you so much for the support. I create all my works from scratch on paper. Noise.cash however seems to have so issues with their platform. I still try to be be active once in a while.

Wonderful, @teesart, to see the paper come to life under your hand. Also, nice to see you experimenting with colors/painting. On a side note, I'm a huge fan of Dali and visited his museum in Florida recently. My review of the exhibit should be up, here, shortly, where I write about movies, art, etc..

I'm a big fan of Dali and his works . I've been trying out a style of painting which I hope to be good at. I think it matches my style of drawing and it seems to be a great combo. I'll check out the post. The visitation must have a been an awesome one. Wow!!

I think it's important as a young artist, @teesart, to study the masters as one continues to experiment, testing the parameters, discovering the full range of their own voice. I did this, as a teenager and later, at your age, by studying closely the lives of poets and philosophers as much as their works. If you're interested, I can email you an electronic copy of a short book of mine where I talk back to my literary heroes who influenced me and shaped the kind of artist I became...

Just drop me a line, if you like: [email protected]

I do study the works of some great artists both of the Renaissance and modern contemporary arts. I find inspiration from them especially those who create works with styles I have great interest in. I read some books on art too but haven't been doing much of that lately. I would love to read the the book. It sounds interesting. I'll send you a mail. Thank you so much for the support.

Terrific, young man, it sounds like you're on the right path & I'm glad our paths crossed. Happy to send along my slim volume of conversations with my literary masters once I receive your email. Wishing you much success, on Hive and off :)

Thank you. I'm glad out paths crossed. I checked out the video. It's really cool. Although I haven't been much of a religious person lately, the message sorta reawakened my spirituality.

It means the world to me to hear you say that my video awakened your spirituality. As the mystic Meister Eckhardt says:

If we only say one prayer, thank you is enough

Being grateful, in awe and seeing/sharing Beauty— these are all ways to pray 🤲🏼

Stay blessed, brother 😇
