The Tiny Town Adventures!

A Freakishly Childish Moment!

Remember when we made our way down to "Stilbaai" in the previous #Pinmapple post that I shared?
Well on that day when we were busy heading homewards, around halfway we discovered this nice little gem of a place! It was a touch and a go and we would have missed it entirely!

I had absolutely no idea that there even was something of the sorts in the area! We also drove past a lion farm on our way back and I really wanted to check that one out but it seems that would be a mission set for later this year!

Anything small and tiny tickles my fancy so yes I kind of had this childish vibe when we drove past, laughs!

Hogwarts Academy?

Correct me if I'm wrong but this reminds me of Hogwarts Academy, although only slightly. It looks a lot like the yard they use to play that broom sport in! Now this goes without saying that I have never really watched any of the Harry Potter movies at all and neither am I a fan!

Now this post I will have to cut down into two sections, the reason for this is that I gathered a whole bunch of photos and it would just make the post absurdly long for no reason!

And I do very much want to share all the photos yes! Thank you!

Playing A Giants Game!

Of-course we were going to get photos in such a manner where we pretend to be giants roaming around the buildings and trying to push them over! Of-course!

The Betty was the first to fall in line for actions as such!

Hogwarts Prevailed.

I am happy to say that Hogwarts Academy has made it through the giant ordeal and we can now move on.
I have to say they could have added some small figurines here and there and in between the buildings.

With that said I do think that they might be busy with an upgrade to the place since some of these laid out buildings have little road signs and cars. Along with pedestrians "roaming" about!

A Real Tiny Town!

This is where I found it interesting!

I know these types of things might not be for everyone, I think one appreciates the effort behind something like this far more than the actual visual pleasing of it all!

Or that's the case for me!

It does get so much better!
I did say earlier that they could have added ornaments such as these with those other empty buildings.
What I didn't consider was how long all of this must take.

The Post Office on the corner of Memory Street!
It looks stupid, really it does but damn I find it freakishly fun to stare at! If I was in this position I'd likely just recreate battlefields!

The Bakery on Memory Street. See they have befitting names with everything! This is surely something that would be planted in my memory folder! But then again anything done with "The Betty" is always a great memory!

A seemingly abandoned street! It has a touch of eerieness even though it is a tiny thing!

A Little housing area with apartment buildings and nice picnic play areas!
Check it out, one of the buildings are even on show!
The effort put in with this is amazing!

What would a community be without faith! They even added a church! Absolutely brilliant! The layout is also pretty good, have a church next to the housing sections!
Although, no cross?

20231227_104602-01.jpeg

In between the housing and the church they even added a restaurant! There's even a truck doing deliveries! It does look like a lowbed truck to say the least but until they have found a better one I think that one is befitting enough!

Still A Bunch More To Come!

Oh yes I still have a few that I'm saving up for another post on another day.

We ate a profoundly amazing lunch that was worth it through and through! Not at first glance but after seeing what we received for the money we paid.

I can only say it was satisfaction at its best!

What an unusual attraction. It looks like a fun place to visit! Kind of reminds me of Lego before Lego existed.

If you were able to scale yourself down you'd probably think it was a real town! Imagine how cool that would be 😅

Happy to see that you didn't miss this one. We have a similar place in my country and it's something else from any other sightseeing attraction :)

Given I expected more but that's because I have seen better in my country, we have a second one in Durban which is much bigger and better. Although I'm not trying to sqaunder theit efforts. Just saying.😅🤪

It was a really nice vibe and especially so after we didn't know what we were going to do! It always feels like it was worth it.
