Not Enough Days: A Weekend Adventure!
Well Hello There Hivers!
Weekends Are For Adventures!
Honestly I don't even know where to start with this! Laughs the weekends was both fun and confusing and confusing in a way that I was kept busy the whole time, it was fun none the less!
Oh there is one thing that I am especially glad that we did! We went swimming! And we made some dessert and I worked on the car and we had a nice chill session in the after noon sun (Under the shade of course!) while reading book! Oh those are the best, those chill and read sessions!
I have to give it to @Galenkp (Sorry for mentioning you here bud, I know often times it can be like being called to the stage! Laughs!) The #weekend-experience community is actually pushing me to make more of my weekends, to have a need and a want to actually go out and do something, rather than sitting at home. Even then I just want to get out there and do some epic stuff! Even if it is cutting up rubber mats for my car outside in the yard! 😅
In The Mood For Something Sweet?
I wont be digging into this too much, maybe I will. I don't want to really because I did write up a story about this in #FoodiesBeeHive! But that probably doesn't matter right?
Lately I've been feeling the need to bake something or slap something to eat, preferably something that is delicious and something that everyone wont be able to get their hands off! Laughs!
Well it won't always be something sweet or something fancy but whatever the little Knuppelduk Aan Koningskos has to offer for me. See this little book is something to pass down onto those who you leave behind someday! Or at-least to us here in this country it feels right! Laughs because every childhood friend I visited at there homes, well they all had one of these and all of them were so used up it's not even true!
It really has a few amazing recipes inside!
So me and "The Betty" knocked up a "Banana Caramel Dessert!"
In all honesty we only made it about 80% of the recipe! We had to add "Apricot Jam" in between the layers and when we read that we stared at each other like that person must be crazy!
We left out the apricot jam!
The dessert was amazing though, might not be for everyone after it's been left in the fridge for a day or two since the banana gets that ripe taste, but I loved it even more then!
I would have thought the pudding to last longer but NOPE!
It Can't Always Be Fun And Games!
Well it really should be just that over the weekends! I don't mean to get myself out of work but for someone who does physical labour during the week and a lot of it at that too! Yeah doing some more physical labour over the weekend isn't exactly my preference!
With that said when I want something done I want it done! Not in the sense of getting it done today! In the sense of, well let me use an example.
I've been busy with this rubber mats in my car for two weekends now and we are heading for number three this weekend! But okay I don't graft the whole day on it, I take the morning from eight and then I'll work till 11 or 12, but then I am going at my own pace.
See the thing is it can take me months to finish! I really don't mind, but when I'm done I want to be satisfied with what I gave myself! The only way to achieve that is to think very clearly about what you're going to cut and how, oh believe me you can make a mess of a big piece of rubber mat by just cutting 5 mm short of what you were supposed to!
They are coming along nicely! I even went to get some edging for the mats to see if I can't finish it off nicely, this picture well this isn't anywhere close to the end result! Take note I will be sharing this every week until I'm done with it!
The Heat? Well We Deal With Those!
Finally! Finally! And One More Final!
I've been aching for weeks to jump into the pool! Well actually the neighbours pool laughs! Finally we jumped in this weekend! FINALLY!
In truth we didn't swim for very long, we went over too late, it was already past three there and well swimming is more fun with a lot of sun! But none the less it was an amazing experience! One that I felt a year ago give or take!
Laughs, I didn't even test the water I simply went to the deep side and dropped in! I was afraid that if I tested the waters first I'd not have wanted to jump in! The uncle said we are mad! Absolutely mad! I think I just really wanted a good swim!
Of-course it wouldn't have been a great day if I didn't get a picture of "The Betty!"
Speaking of The Betty! It's your birthday in a couple of days @misshugo! I hope you are as excited for it as I am! Even though I'm still stressing over if I got you everything I wanted to! I still need to get you something small and from the heart! Not that everything I got you didn't come from the heart, but I feel there is something missing!
We will have to scour the shopping sentrums this weekend!

The Chilling Is A Must!
I didn't have a proper weekend if I didn't chill under a tree with some snacks alongside "The Betty!"
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's these moments that I cherish so absolutely much! See I don't want to grow old and think back at our lives together and then thinking what did we do with all the time? No I don't even want that thought to come up! When I think back I want to dive into a bag full of memories with the person I loved the most!
Most of you are wondering what is that black stuff in the plate? Well that is "Biltong" and yes it's a million times better than beef jerky! Laughs! A MILLION TIMES!
Also, don't ask me what "The Betty" is reading! Laughs, although I heard those are some good books to read! I myself want "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" but I want the hard copy and not some digital version! I do fancy my hard copies in both books, games, movies anything! I'm old school like that!
And so the weekend drew to a close!

As soon as I got home he grubbed to my leg like a lice! I have to admit, I never thought I'd be the one getting a cat in life! But here I am falling sucker to the little bugger!
Also, this guy has an attitude on him, but give him a head scratch and you can do with him whatever you want to!
