Moments That Wont Ever Be Forgotten

Doing Nothing Is Still Doing Something Right?

Weekends And Sushi With A Good Book! What Can Beat That?

I've been meaning to write this up a few days ago actually but then a lot of unfortunate things have happened and my mind just kind of strayed away from it. I only now realized and remembered these photos I took over the weekend when I was scrolling through my phone for the latest sunset pictures I took.

Well Yeah!

We don't always have amazing weekends planned, actually me and The Betty rarely go out and do something, some might say we are getting old and that might be the case but we are both very much anti-social. Although we can be social it's a tricky thing really but we prefer not to be in crowds.
After all that is how people die, by being in crowds!

I don't know if this really counts as a weekend experience but it was my weekend experience. It was Saturday afternoon and The Betty asked if I was in the mood for some sushi, of-course I was, for sushi I'll never say no.😁 I'm sure most can agree.

There we were fetching some sushi and when we got back home we found a nice spot in the sun on the driveway. The last little bit of sun that was left though and we got a blanket filled our cups with some juice and we both grabbed our books and had a nice Sunset, Sushi, Book reading session. Until the sun faded then it got cold, but it's the idea that counts.

Perhaps we should plan ahead next time and go find a hilltop to sit on or something. You know make a little picnic adventure of it all!

You know it's moments like these that one can keep forever and it's moments like these that made me start writing up on Hive, like really writing up on Hive. I don't care all that much for my actual technical posts but one day I'll be so glad I shared and saved moments like these.

With The Betty out of country I don't have anything to do and it's only when they aren't there where you actually realize how much you miss them and how much they mean to you and how much you actually rely on their presence.

One day these moments are going to stand out above a million other memories!

So @misshugo can we plan some unplanned adventure one of these weekends? Let's make life a bit more thrilling and go out for a change, I mean we were out the other weekend but let's go do something adventure like. Perhaps visit a lion farm, I heard there are quite a few around Bloemfontein? Or go out to that FreshFord House museum? I think you showed me a pamphlet some time ago! Let's go on an adventure when you comeback please? Well that is if there is any place open on Sunday. 🤣 Probably won't be.

Great vacation. For me, reading in nature is one of the best forms of recreation.

I can feel the longing here. That's sweet. It's hard when you're used to the presence of that person. It feels empty when they are away.

It’s great that you can save these kind of moments on Hive, I tend to do the same! Suchi, a nice company and a good book are a perfect plan for a healthy and happy weekend. Enjoy it!
