Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

Doing What Others Left.

Here I am again! Finishing up on what some people can't or rather makes a constant mess of.

We got this other guy here that is trying to help out but let me not dive too deep into that topic, let's just say that if we didn't do a oil change we might as well have with how much oil he spilled on the floor, but luckily we are doing a oil change and also a computer plate change.

Besides if such a mess was made with the removal I don't want to see what happens with the fitment of this, so I decided to take this one over!

Some General Cleaning Needed.

Now the amount of steel trapped on the magnets wasn't anything out of the ordinary, something that I was content with. But they did need cleaning, there is no way in hell that I can refit all that without cleaning it up first.

I didn't do much on the valve body itself except to change the computer plate on it, oh and the filter. As per clients request, no filter change. Well no warranty right? Although it is just an oil change.

All Of It Covered.

You might not notice it but the cross member behind the transmission is completely covered with oil and for no apparant reason at all, I think people just want to be overly lazy.

Perhaps I'm just too competitive.

I really love how all the gunk in these ATF running machines actually get trapped in the oil and not get sticky to the casings.
Technology is amazing, it's so that all the gunk can be pushed through the filtering system of the transmission and get cleaned up.

Filled Up Freshly.

Thankfully we did do a oil change, otherwise it would have been quite stupid to even do all this work in the first place?
It also took much more than I thought it would.

Usually it's about 6-7 liters, maybe sometimes 8 but this one was straight up 9 liters, then again it stood open overnight hey.

I'd Do A Trade.

The price tag on this one isn't all that high, it's about R320 000, it's a lot but not that much, at-least not for what you get.

Yeah we fixed it up for a dealership. I wont mind swapping mine in for this one at all.

Well she is all fixed up now BUT we still need to give her the test drive and really see if everything is A for the Okay!

Take note this is not a how to guide, merely myself talking about the work I do and my thoughts around certain things.

To everyone who made it this far into my post Thank you for the read and the support.

If you found this entertaining or educational please consider a re-blog and up-vote.

Most of all please leave a input in the comments below, whether is good or bad critic I would like to know, whether its your opinion or your way of doing things in a different manner I would like.

It really is a beautifull piece of machine this one! The colour makes it even better and the leather interior makes it the all time best! Soft on the eyes I tell you!

Hello my friend, what you show us is a good job. Sometimes you have to fight with the mistakes that others make during repairs, that makes the job more difficult, but that's life and you have to excel at what you do or at least strive to do it as best as possible. Greetings
