Days Gone: Sherman's Camp!
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of Days Gone Deacon nearly got himself killed and it would likely have been the case if anybody other than Rikki had come across him stealing medical supplies for Boozer. Somehow in someway Rikki managed to change Iron Mike's mind not to have him killed or both kicked out at the very least.
There was even an agreement that Boozer could stick around until he's all patched up and good to stand on his own two feet. All of this didn't come free of charge let's be sure of that, no there is a price to be paid and the most expensive price in today's life would be to do a run for somebody. Yeah there's that.
As long as Boozer is getting the help he needs who am I to complain about anything.
Paying Those Debts.
Of-course killing the time by paying the debts is what we were all good at one point in our lives right? So I made the rounds to go and see if Addy might be in need of anything in the clinic. She looked like she needed the help and she did, she is running dangerously low and everything but there might be something I can get that would be of more help than any of the running low on supplies.
This item being the Liston Knife. A knife used when operating in the field of battle used primarily when there was nothing available to dull the pain.
Addy handed me a list of things that they needed at the infirmary and where to get most of it. The problem was that the most important on the list was in Sherman's Camp a place heavily over run by Freakers and treading in there while shooting your weapon is asking to die a slow horrid death!
The thing is I had no choice Addy needs the help and I can make it happen of-course I have to! Even if it means that I have to die trying!
I Guess People Never Really Change!
I didn't just hop onto the bike and got the hell out of Lost Lake Camp. No I had to stack up on everything so that meant I had to swing by everyone that knew me from before things went sour between us and Lost Lake. The one half can't believe that I dared to come back after what happened and the other half wish we never came back.
I'm glad to know that at the very least I have Addy and Rikki behind me so I doubt they would dare try and kill a brother or even intimidate me somehow. The fact remains that after all this time they still hold me accountable of things that happened, damn it's been ages can't we let things go?
Ambush!
There I was making my way onto the open road and since the objective was some ways off I decided to have a play at it while driving all the way there.
During this drive I got a radio call out of the blue from none other than that Dr O'Brian now I was just starting to think that the man wasn't ever going to contact me back but he did and he kept true to his word.
Now he wanted me to do something for him first and God only knows what that might be. He wants me to meet him at some coordinates that he sent over to the radio I stole from him. The problem was that I could not cut short on this one now, I had to see through with what I am busy with.
And There It Was!
It happened once again, I was minding my own business and all of a sudden I felt a sharp burning sensation stinging through my arm and by the time I realized I kissed a little bit of tar and ended up hugging the cold hard ground!
I was on the outskirts of Sherman's Camp where the raiders had a sniper posted in a house next to the road who was able to take me out before I even knew it!
I Still Don't Get It!
Why would they? Why would they blindly charge a man that is holding an ak-47 and more than ready to fire? They aren't even drifters that cut them selves up because they've consumed too many narcotics! It's either bravery or stupidity but whatever it may be they died while standing like men!
I'll give that to them!
It's just still a shame that they died for nothing at all...
Is This The World We Want To Leave Behind?
Well it is actually the kind of world we left behind, I know nobody wants to hear that but it's the truth! The kind where we have to kill and ambush for whatever we might need instead of working together to stand strong against all who might wish to harmfully take what they want!
No, we would much rather murder and plunder for everything!
They failed in whatever they meant to achieve, as I drove by I heard a man screaming which immediately raised my level of awareness and as I was driving I noticed a long rope spanned out across the road infront of me and well I've been caught like that one too many times!
I braked as hard as the motorcycle allowed me to and turned around while they came charging down on me!
It didn't take me long to put them down too.
I decided to make my trip into Sherman's Camp a quick one, a very quick one! I didn't want to stay too long because I knew for a fact that I would have need of my firearm and when the shots start going off every freaker in a mile will be drawn to my location immediately.
If I wanted to be of any help, any help at all then dying in this place would be beneficial to nobody! Which meant failure was not an option!
I didn't stick around at all! As soon as I got the knife Addy was looking for I was out of there! I ran as fast as my legs allowed me and as fast as my motorcycle allowed me to drive!
I had no liking in the looks of Sherman's Camp it looked a whole great deal like a ghost town or someplace murderers would gather to perform rituals! The whole aura of the place was just dark and terrifying!
Heading back to Lost Lake made me feel at ease, I do have to admit I feel much safer in their camp I've ever felt in any other camp!

I like the graphics and surroundings of this game the most. Unlike God of War, you can walk anywhere in this game which I really miss in God of War.
Yeah that is a feature that still sucks today.. I mean why couldn't they make God of War partially free to roam atleast??.
Anyways, it's a great game and you should give it a try sometime!

Which one are you talking about? I tried both God of War and Days Gone. Paused playing Days Gone and playing God of War now. Gonna resume playing Days Gone soon and yeah that's a nice game and I like it.
