The Good Samaritans In The Weekends
"Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give".
Longer-lasting joy comes from giving rather than receiving. Joy shared is doubly joyful. Today's world of ever-rising living expenses and intense competition means that, unfortunately, even our kids have learned to do things only in exchange for something in return. We will eventually lose humanity—the core of who we are—if lives are not made to become so materialistic.
Our capacity for feeling and emphasizing sets us apart from robots or machines, and we must value this characteristic and instil it in our kids before it's too late. We must impart to them that giving selflessly and without anticipating anything in return brings about a faithful joy and happiness that not only lasts a great deal longer but also truly fills us with happiness; this is why it is appropriately referred to as "the Joy of Giving."
This explains why we are overjoyed that our Aeta learners received the efforts and blessings of the St. Joseph College students from Olongapo City last Saturday.
We are overjoyed that they can still visit our school and bring happiness to our students despite the great distance.
They had a ton of gifts ready for our pupils. Other than the grocery bag. They also provide clothing, toys, and sandals for each student.
In addition, they make Jollibee meals, such as the yummy burger and chicken joy, which are the majority of kids' absolute favourites.
For them, having Jolibee is a considerable achievement and source of happiness because of poverty and living in a remote place; some don't know about Jolibee.
Afterwards, they also provide an interactive number so everyone can enjoy the moment and be entertained.
We are so happy that these young people have already made their lives worthy by sharing goodness and blessings with others. We are so proud that humanity exists even at a young age.
As a teacher, I agree that we should instil in the hearts and minds of others the essence of giving and sharing blessings with others.
Giving Gives Us the Ability to Be Grateful
Giving without expecting anything in return brings us joy and transforms us. Helping others makes our lives meaningful and purposeful, making us feel grateful for the people we can help. Being happy that you can help someone and incredibly thankful to them for letting you help them is a strange, contradictory, and profoundly complex feeling. Huge, costly gestures are not necessary. This feeling is attainable through even modest deeds of kindness.
The best way to start and instil in your child the values of kindness and charity is to start small. We can invest in our kids the importance of generosity and non-material pleasures in many ways. Begin by teaching your child to give a less fortunate child a toy they no longer need. You could even have your child help prepare a simple meal to share with someone less fortunate. When a child's long-forgotten toy suddenly becomes their new favourite toy right before you give it away, sharing doesn't come quickly to them. Continue as you are.
Sharing and giving at an early age makes children happier, more self-assured, and more appreciative adults who even enjoy life's small pleasures.
I love Jollibee. We have only 2 outlets in Sabah, Malaysia so in order for me to get it, I need to travel to another town.
It's a good thing for you and the others by giving . Kindness is all we need in this world. If everybody were kind, there would be no war and no hunger.
It's nice that you love Jollibee too :)
I agree with you, kindness is all that we need in this world, and other good things will follow :)
Thank you for dropping by :)
When we giving to them, the important is we have no expectation of getting back what we giving. We need to keep pure intention in our hearts ❤️
Those children look happy with the present of that event. 🌞🎉
I agree with you, when we give we don't need to expect something in return, it's the true essence of giving. :)
Good job.
Thank you! :)
