Haha nice one....

A number of years ago a guy that I had worked with that I previously respected phoned me out of the blue and started telling me that he'd realised the world is flat and tried to back it up with "evidence". I was so gob smacked I didn't know what to say - I offered some rational arguments but he wouldn't hear any of them - very very strange! Anyway I wonder if he's still a flat earther now!

That's always the problem when you try and apply rationale to counteract someone's irrational position. It ends in frustration lol

Of course, the Mark Twain quote about questioning yourself when you're on the side of the majority always plays on my mind so I don't discount the possibility that me and James T could end up looking like a right pair of knobheads...but I doubt it ;-)

PS You don't have a cat do you? I hear they're all the rage in electronic music production circles lol ;-)

Nice to meet you and every success to you !

Indeed - it's important to question one's beliefs and be open minded... but after some thought (5 seconds) I was pretty comfortable to continue to live my life sticking with the earth is a sphere(ish) view point!

re: PS. I don't have a cat! I'm kept running around quite enough by my 3 year old son!

Nice to meet you too!
