Hello friends, today I bring you my walk through the city of Quito, Ecuador.
Hola amigos hoy les traigo mi paseo por la cuidad de Quito Ecuador.
In March 2017, he left Venezuela on a journey through South America and one of the stops would be the City of Quito, Ecuador, a journey that lasted approximately 4 days from Venezuela to the city of Quito.
En marzo de 2017 partia de Venezuela en una travesia por sudamerica y una de las paradas seria la Ciudad de quito ecuador, un trayecto que duro aproximadamente 4 dias de viaje desde Venezuela hasta la ciudad de quito.
I chose Quito as one of my stops because my brother lived in the city, specifically in the north, towards Pichincha, the historic center. A long trip without a doubt but very nutritious and full of many countries, food and laughter, without a doubt it was an enriching journey.
From the Colombian border to the Ecuadorian border the weather changed significantly, it went from 17 degrees to -2 degrees, and for our equipment that we were wearing at that time it was somewhat complicated to make the migratory passage at such a low temperature since you have to stand in line In front of the immigration offices at the border, we spent around 3 hours to do the immigration stamp and then continue the trip, we took a taxi to the terminal and boarded a bus to our destination Quito.
Elegí quito como una de mis paradas porque mi hermano residia en la ciudad, específicamente en el norte, hacia pichincha, casco histórico. Un largo viaje sin duda alguna pero muy nutritivo y lleno de muchos países, comidas y risas, sin duda alguna fue un trayecto enriquecedor.
Desde la frontera colombiana a la fontera ecuatoriana cambie el clima significativamente, paso de 17 grados a -2 grados, y para nuestra equipacion que llevamos en ese momento fue algo complicado hacer el paso migratorio a tan baja temperatura ya que tienes que hacer una cola frente de la oficinas de migración en la frontera, duramos alrededor de 3 a horas para hacer el sello migratorio y luego continuar el viaje, tomamos un taxi hasta la terminal y abordamos un bus hacia nuestro destino Quito.
After 12 hours on the road, we arrived at the north terminal of the city, at approximately 10am local time, the weather was perfect marking 8 degrees and with a refreshing sun, from the arrival in the city people were very shy and closed with the foreigners, but we follow our step. With the location of the gps we arrived at our destination, directly to rest due to the exhaustion of the trip.
Después de 12 horas en carretera, llegamos al terminal del norte de la ciudad, aproximadamente a las 10am hora local, el clima estaba perfecta marcando 8 grados y con un sol refrescante, desde la llegada a la ciudad las personas eran muy timidas y cerradas con los extrajeros, pero nosotros seguimos nuestro paso. Con la ubicación del gps llegamos a nuestro destino, directo a descansar por el agotamiento del viaje.
In the afternoon, after being rested, we went on a tour of the city, beginning the visit to the Basilica del Voto Nacional de Quito, this imposing structure with its neo-Gothic style built in 1924 and with its different chapels make this construction an art that will last forever. many generations.
En la tarde después de estar descansados salimos en recorrido por la ciudad comenzando la visita la Basilica del voto Nacional de Quito, esta imponente estructura con su estilo neogótico edificada en el año 1924 y con sus diferentes capillas hacen de esta construcción un arte que perdurara para muchas generaciones.
We continue the journey to the Virgen del panecillo, located at the top of the city at a height of 3,000 meters above sea level where just running causes fatigue due to lack of oxygen, a beautiful place covered by mist and fights. sunsets in virgin make this a great place, where I can take good photos.
Continuamos el recorrido hacia la virgen del panecillo, ubicada en lo alto de la ciudad a una altura de 3.000 metros sobre el nivel del mar donde el tan solo correr causa fática por la falta de oxigeno, un lugar hermoso cubierto por la neblina y las luches puestas en virgen hacen de este un lugar estupendo, donde logre sacar buenas fotos.
Going down to the center of the city we continue our tour, having a few beers learning about the history and gastronomy. I liked this part of the city a lot because it is full of contemporary structures and they make you feel like you are traveling back in time. We have to appreciate these little details that past generations left us.
Bajando hacia el centro de la ciudad continuamos nuestro recorrido, tomando unas cervezas conociendo de la historia y gastronomía. Esta parte de la ciudad de me gusto mucho porque esta llena de sus estructuras contemporáneas y te hacen sentir como en un viaje en el tiempo. Tenemos que apreciar estos pequeños detalles que nos dejaron las generaciones pasadas.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
