A collaboration for Hive is a good sign. It's high time we start taking Hive beyond hive. So, this collaboration is a good one.
Hive really has alot to offer and it's doing it already. The fast paced transaction we enjoy here is top-notch. Seriously, it's impressive. Hive is excelling decently.
I might have missed the roadmap you talked about as regards 3speak. I would have to check it out. Dunno if there is any way to lay hands on that.
A mobile App from Leofinance doesn't sound bad at all. It will affect hive in one way or another. Positive effect, I suppose.
Obviously I’m no economist, but I feel like even though you’re correct about the Splinterlands team’s vision lacking the breadth of what 3spk is working on, I have a nagging drive to affiliate the economy they’re building with a proof of work for how a system that implements various “failed” forms of government in bits, without the possibility of corruption from human intervention, into a functioning foundation for a decentralized and distributed society can work.
It’s not a road map by any means but the distribution of production AND governance throughout the community seems like it will have a place in history books someday whether it’s accredited to a “silly game” (🤣) or not.
