INTERNSHIP TRIP IN DA LAT - THE CITY OF DREAMS

avatar

Hi everyone, How are you today? 😁
I'm Tani and I'm back. I hope you all have a nice day with the best. Recently, the weather has been both cold and warm. This reminds me of my internship in my sophomore year.

In the article introducing myself, I mentioned my major. My major is construction economics, so the purpose of the trip is to learn about the structure and architecture of buildings and big works in Da Lat. This is a city with many works of international stature, with an ancient look. Besides, there are minutes to visit the amusement places here. Follow me to learn about the great places in this city of thousands of flowers.

WHICH PLACES SHOULD GO WHEN COMING TO DA LAT?

Dalat is the capital city of Vietnam's Lam Dong province and is located in the center of the southern highlands. This place has been famous for its colorful flowers, ancient villas nestling in the pine forests, or the characteristic fog. With its fresh air, beautiful waterfalls, and gorgeous lakes, it is also known as the City of Flowers and Honeymooners. The weather in this beautiful city changes constantly. In the afternoon, it is quite warm and cool, while in the evening, it is bitterly cold. In general, the climate is mild and conducive to the growth of available flora and fauna. This is also why there are so many beautiful and precious flowers in Da Lat.

Besides introducing places to visit in Da Lat, I will briefly introduce the architecture of these constructions.

Valley of Love

If you are visiting Dalat, you should definitely go to the Valley of Love. Here is Da Lat's most poetic landscape. Valley of Love is located about 5 kilometers north of the city center and is beautiful and appealing all year round due to its deep valley and green pine hills.
The purpose of me and my friends coming to Da Lat is to internship, so the time to visit here is also limited.

It also has beautiful scenes such as love labyrinth, love lock bridge, flower stream, public garden, strawberry garden, colorful stairs near duck pedal lake and many other beautiful scenes.

There is a very interesting duck riding service here, remember to try it out.

Moreover, you can also participate in adventure games

This is my university lecturer, she is very interested in such games

You'll be transported by tram throughout the entire tour so you don't have to worry about your feet getting tired. Besides, there are some souvenir stalls for tourists. You can buy them to give to your friends and relatives after the trip.

Lam Vien Square

Lam Vien Square is the name of a hugely built park located in the center of Da Lat city, facing Xuan Huong Lake. The project was built by Da Lat city to create more novelty and attractiveness for the city center. The construction of Lam Vien Square began in 2009, and the project was completed in 2015. Lam Vien Square attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists.

I think you can also easily identify Lam Vien Square because of its two distinct glass structures. That is the Artichoke flower block and the Da Quy flower block are made of tempered glass and imported aluminum sheet from abroad. Most materials are imported from Germany, India, Korea. If you're looking for a great location to take wedding photos, this is the place to go. I'm sure you won't want to leave once you've come to this place.

This architectural work takes design ideas from the image of wild sunflowers. This is a flower that usually blooms at the end of the rainy season and grows a lot on the mountains of Da Lat.

I had to wait in line to take a picture next to this masterpiece, it was really crowded. The interior has been designed as a cafe with a very cool space.

You can also walk around the park, admire the beautiful scenery of Xuan Huong Lake from the steps of the square.

One was taken in a hurry while driving.

Dalat train station

Da Lat Railway Station is the train station of Da Lat city. The station has a unique architectural style, with three pyramidal roofs, stylized three peaks of Langbiang mountain or communal house in the Central Highlands.

This is the check-in place for many tourists to visit. Me and my friends also took advantage of keeping memories here

Capture great moments

Truc Lam Zen Monastery

Truc Lam Zen Monastery is a Zen monastery of the Truc Lam Yen Tu sect. The monastery is 5km from the center of Da Lat city, located on Phung Hoang Mountain, above Tuyen Lam lake. This is not only the largest monastery in Lam Dong but also a place to visit and worship many domestic and foreign tourists.

The homeroom teacher and I at the gate of Truc Lam Zen Monastery

Zen Monastery architecture follows the trend of modernizing the architectural lines of ancient pagodas. In terms of form is the national architecture, in terms of function, the structure is modern.

Looking down from the main hall is Tuyen Lam Lake, the scenery here is very beautiful, the lake is blue in the shadow of the pine trees on the side of Thanh Luong hill. Halfway down the hill, near Tinh Tam lake is a 2-story guesthouse tucked away on a hill with a green garden. This is where women come to apply for a short stay at the monastery.

The night market Dalat

IMG_0207.JPG

With the cold weather, put on warm clothes and go down to the night market to enjoy the hot food sold at the night market. I'm sure that you will be overwhelmed with the food and clothes sold here. They are very diverse, with enough styles for you to choose from. Dalat's specialties such as grilled rice paper, mixed fruit candies, dried fruits, etc. Dried foods have a long shelf life, so you can buy them and bring them back to your loved ones. Just talking about it, I wanted to go back to Dalat night market immediately.🤣

It's definitely a dish, Da Lat grilled rice paper. It's really delicious

The salespeople are very friendly, the prices of the items are moderate so you don't have to worry about the high prices. I am especially interested in the souvenirs sold at the market, especially the pine cones. They are painted by artists to look very shiny outside.

The more we discover, the more beauty and excitement in Dalat we find. I hope that there will be more opportunities to come there in the near future.
