[ENG/ESP] Wednesday tour of the town of El Salado.
Dear friends of #wednesdaywalk, once again with you joining the challenge of our friend @tattodjai . I still can't move far to do the shopping, and for that reason we decided to shop in the surroundings of the locality el Salado very close to where I live.
The day was extraordinarily beautiful; the sky was a splendid blue.
Queridos amigos de #wednesdaywalk, una vez más con ustedes uniéndome al reto de nuestro amigo @tattodjai . Aún no puedo trasladarme lejos para hacer la compra, y por esa razón decidimos comprar en los alrededores de la localidad el Salado muy pegada donde vivo.
El día estaba extraordinariamente hermoso; el cielo tenía un azul espléndido.
When I got to 31 de Julio Avenue, I realized that the house on that corner was not just a house, but a workshop where clay figures are made and sold.
Al llegar a la avenida 31 de julio, me di cuenta de que la casa que estaba en esa esquina no era simplemente una casa, sino un taller donde se hacen y se venden figuras de barro.
Many of its mountains are made of clay, around this area you can even find holes like this one that people open to grab some and decorate the facade of their house.

We continued on our way to Ratan, passing by Don Julio's cocada, which had already opened early and was giving off a delicious smell of cachapa.

But we could not stop and continued until we reached the Ratan market, where we started to look at the products that were of interest to us. We saw that the paintings were a bit high priced, so I thought Ratan was not the best place to buy them. We bought what we needed and headed home.
Pero no podíamos detenernos y continuamos hasta llegar al mercado Ratan, donde nos pusimos a ver los productos que eran de nuestro interés. Vimos que las pinturas tenían un precio un poco alto, así que creí que Ratan no era el mejor lugar para comprarlas. Compramos lo que necesitábamos y nos dirigimos a casa.
On the way back, we saw that the ladies selling empanadas were already offering their service, but we did not want to stop because of the intense heat. This is a common occurrence on the island and if you don't hydrate in time, it can be unfortunate.
En el camino de regreso, vimos que las señoras que venden empanadas ya estaban ofreciendo su servicio, pero no quisimos detenernos debido al calor intenso. Esto es algo muy común en la isla y si no te hidratas a tiempo, puede ser lamentable.
We arrived home with most of our goals accomplished.
Llegamos a casa con gran parte de los objetivos cumplidos.
