Hidden Gems from Our Last Hiking Trip
I have a confession...
I'm not really into hiking. I suck at steep slopes. And I'm afraid of bugs. I also have this insane imagination that I might end up touching leaves or twigs that make me hallucinate and lose my way around.
Plus, I don't think I have the right shoes for it! Still, I love my husband and I would love to meet his friends (for the first time).
I also thought it would be a great opportunity to start getting out of my comfort zone.
It was the first me and my husband hiked for long hours across many hills and through a few waterfalls and the city's dam. We pretty much didn't know what we got ourselves into.
And despite the struggles, slips, and near-death moments, having to see these breathtaking views and being able to embrace nature made everything totally worth it!

It turned out my husband was pretty good at hiking. He's able to find balance and has the endurance for prolonged climbing.
In my case, I needed some kind of stick (an alternative to a trekking pole) to keep me balanced. Thankfully, I was able to endure the 7-hour trek for 7 kilometers!
It was, indeed, the most fulfilling adventure we had together. We were both proud of each other for having to survive what we went through and to witness and awe the beauty around us.
And I think we're up for another challenge some time soon!
First thoughts was.. Sanaol may pangforever kasama katkat bukid 😂
Second thought... Love your color palette! whats your phone? haha kay I just use a mirrorless fuji but sometimes bulky najud xa ibring to dayhikes...
Third is.. there is nothing more exciting to get out from your comfort zone and do things you never thought you would be able to achieve!
