Spontaneous Road Trip: Adlawon Vacation Farm

Our journey continues.

After Chesanyama, we decided to go Adlawon Vacation Farm which is also located in Brgy Aldaon, Cebu City. It’s approximately fourteen minutes from Chesanyama. We didn't expect there would be this kind of place here in Cebu.

Adlawon Vacation Farm is a huge farm that offers a wonderful place for you to spend-time with nature with friends and family. It gives a vibe of a nature park. They have gardens, playgrounds, orchards, ponds, farm animals, picnic areas, and many more. They also have a restaurant inside. They also offer lodging and function rooms. Do you prefer camping? Look no further, you can also do camping inside Adlawon Vacation Farm. You're into yoga? We'll they also have an area where you can do yoga, their Yoga Peak.

The farm is so huge that you need to have a copy of their map so that you won't get lost. We did not have enough time to tour the whole farm since we went there around three in the afternoon.

We started our quick tour of the farm by trying out their cocoon swing. We took turns in swinging and posing and taking pictures. Here are our faces when trying their cocoon swing.

We took a scenic path further on the farm. Further down the farm, reached their rotunda, fire pit, and playground. You may want to play croquet in their playground or shoot some hoops.

We greeted their farm animals hello too because it's just beside the playground.

Then we went on and passed by their Deluxe "payag". (Payag is Cebuano term for nipa hut). You can book a stay in their Deluxe Payag.

We stop for a quick rest in their small egg-shape hut. Then again took turns in taking pictures.

After our quick rest, we head to their river. But we misread the map and got redirected to another relaxing spot. I'm not sure what they call this area but the place seems perfect for picnic. They set up tables and chairs under the shade of mango trees. There's a swing if you want to bring back the kid in you. Again we spent some time resting and taking pictures before finding the path to the river.

Now unto our quest to find the river. We check the map and realized our mistake. So went back to our path. Along the way, we passed by their solemn chapel. Yes, they have a chapel on their farm. At this point, it made me think that this place is perfect for a wedding venue. You have a chapel, restaurant, or function rooms, and a beautiful background for pre-nuptial photos. It's a perfect package.

Finally, we found our way to the river. It's just behind the farm animal area. Unfortunately, the gate to the river was locked. I think they will just open this whenever they have a mountain trekking activity.

We now decided to head back, relax for a few minutes, then head home.

We had an awesome experience and made us think that someday, we can bring family and friends to Adlawon Vacation Farm. And I still can't stop thinking about how great this place would be for weddings. You have all that you need in one place.
