My Journey To Yogyakarta

Hello guys....

Yesterday, on Saturday I went to start my vacation, and my vacation destination was Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is one of the big cities in Indonesia. This city is known for its beautiful places, and has many tourist attractions that can be visited. Here also has many interesting and delicious restaurants.

I went to Yogyakarta by plane for quite a long time, because I had to transit to Jakarta first. This is a very tiring long journey. I went from home to the airport around 8 am. But I just arrived in Yogyakarta where I was staying at 9 pm, it's been a long time isn't it.

Medan to Jakarta

The plane I was on left for Jakarta at 11 am. But because the distance is quite far from my house to the airport so I decided to leave early, at 8 am. The streets are quite quiet, there may be about 1 hour drive to the airport.

After arriving at the airport I went straight to this check point and luggage storage area. It's a long queue, because many want to travel too.

And finally I got my ticket, because I was going to take 2 planes, so I had 2 plane tickets.

I have entered the airport waiting room at 10 am, while waiting I spent my time playing games. Luckily I brought my sister's Nintendo Switch, so I wouldn't be bored while waiting for my flight.

The waiting room was quite crowded, but everyone obeyed the rules, namely by keeping their distance and wearing masks.

And finally I got on the plane and the flight started. Actually I'm afraid to go on a plane but I really want to go on vacation so I just ventured. The trip from Medan to Jakarta took more than 2 hours, this is quite long in my opinion for those who are afraid to take planes. The flight was fine, but on the plane there were some small children crying, so I couldn't sleep during the journey.

Jakarta to Yogyakarta

I arrived at the Jakarta airport at 1.20 pm, as soon as I got off the plane I went straight to the ticket check point for transit. The place is very far and also tiring.

The airport in Jakarta is very wide, so walking here is very tiring, and not only to walk to the ticket check point which is far but to get to the airport waiting room is also far. The waiting room that I will occupy is at the very last gate, so it is located at the end of the airport. I spent almost 1 hour just walking.

The transit time from Jakarta to Yogyakarta should be 2 hours. But there was a delay where the flight should have been at 3.20 noon instead it became 4.20 pm, it was a very long delay. While waiting for a late flight I decided to order a drink from Roti'O. The drink I ordered was Hazelnut Choco, and not only that I also ate the Chocopie that I brought from home. This is good for holding back my hunger while I wait here.

And finally the time for the flight, the flight from Jakarta to Yogyakarta is not long, less than 1 hour.

And as soon as I arrived at the Yogyakarta airport, I went straight to the train station at the airport to order tickets. I will stay at my friend's house, and to go to my friend's house I have to use the train because the distance is far.

And finally I arrived at my friend's house at around 8 pm. This is a tiring journey, that's why I arrived at my friend's house I immediately fell asleep and can only post this now. My whole body aches, especially my legs from walking too much. But that's okay, the important thing is that I arrived safely here.

Ah, I got our health from the airline, maybe because the flight was late, that's why I was given this. The contents are a mask, hand sanitizer, vitamin C, and aromatic eucalyptus oil. Yeah it's pretty good too get this.

This is a short but tiring journey to get to Yogyakarta, I hope here I can have fun and enjoy my vacation.
