I get a lot of pleasure from tending the garden.There are different kinds of vegetables in my garden. Today I will discuss about tomatoes of my gardern and its details.

Starting a tomato garden is very easy. The steps are:

Land selection :

Tomato plants should be grown in healthy and well-developed soil. This is also necessary for all the other plants. Weed free site should be selected.

Cleaning the soil:

Weeds should be kept clean. A variety of pests can grow in the soil, which are harmful to tomato plants. Therefore organic fertilizers should be applied in proportion to the land.

Seed selection :

Choosing the right variety of seed is important. The seeds of improved varieties should be selected by reviewing from local nurseries.

Sunshine :

Tomato seeds need sunlight, so tomato garden should get enough sunlight.

Water Supply :

Proper irrigation is very important for tomato gardening. Water should be irrigated to the extent that all the land is wet. But care should be taken that excess water does not accumulate on the ground. Irrigation should be done in the morning for best yield.

Tomatoes are used in a variety of dishes, such as:

• Eating fresh tomatoes: Tomatoes are very tasty fruits and can be eaten directly. You can chop it and eat it or slice it and serve it.

• Tomato sauce: Tomato sauce enhances the taste of food

• Tomato Soup : Tomato soup is very tasty and healthy. It can be eaten with a pie or served with chowmein, roti or bread.

• Tomato Pizza: Tomatoes are used as an ingredient in pizzas.

• Besides, chutney is made with tomatoes.

Finally, I feel peace of mind when I tending to my tomato garden. It feels like I'm taking care of my kids. And the feeling of eating tomatoes those grown in one's own land is also wonderful.
