Confiemos la salud dental en manos expertas || Catarsis Reflexiva [ESP/ENG]

Hola mis queridos lectores, los saludo con cariño y con respeto, deseando que se encuentren bien y que cada día puedan sentir la satisfacción de cumplir sus metas y logren alcanzar los que realmente anhela su corazón.

El día de hoy quiero hacer una catarsis a modo también de reflexión para mí misma y para que sirva de ejemplo para los demás que pueden estar pasando por la misma situación.

Desde hace algunos días me ha pasado que hablando con mi hijo me he percatado que tenía un aliento un poco particular, que no era para nada agradable y me parecía un tanto extraño, porque hace unos meses atrás lo llevé al odontólogo para que le repararan una caries y le hicieran una limpieza dental.

Mi hijo es muy cuidadoso con su boca y mantiene una muy buena higiene bucal. Se cepilla luego de cada comida y usa constantemente su enjuague bucal. Me he preocupado por eso porque una de las debilidades que yo tengo, es que no cuento con una buena dentadura y poco a poco he ido solventando eso, pero como madre mi prioridad económica siempre estará enfocada en mis hijos.

Producto de todas las necesidades que hay que cubrir en la casa y sobretodo los gastos excesivos en comida y colegios privados que son nuestra mayor prioridad y en donde enfocamos nuestros sacrificios, fui a un odontólogo que me recomendaron que había abierto su consultorio como a 5 casas de la mía y que sus honorarios no eran costosos , más bien muy accesibles , así que llevé a Guillermo allí en una primera instancia.

Realmente el trabajo le duró poco y a menos de 10 días lo volví a llevar porque se le había caído la amalgama, pero solo pensé que quizá el había comido algo que hizo ese efecto y como se la volvió a reparar, obvio sin costo adicional, me quede tranquila y aparentemente satisfecha.

El día domingo estando en un parque con mi hijo menor por el día del niño, me doy cuenta que al hablar Guillermo había un olor particular en su boca, a lo que saltaron inmediatamente mis alarmas y le dije a mi hija mayor @virgi2001 que lo llevara al día siguiente al odontólogo que ella había ido recientemente, ya que también le pasó una mala experiencia con su odontóloga anterior. Yo tenía trabajo y no podía faltar en la mañana así que ella lo llevó.

Al llegar a mi casa con la creencia que ya todo estaba resuelto, me cuenta mi hija que el odontólogo no le pudo hacer nada y que era más difícil de lo que pensaba. Le dijo que tenía un trabajo muy mal hecho y que ameritaba la intervención de un especialista en endodoncia y que aunado a eso iba a necesitar de la colocación de una corona.

Cuando me comunica eso inmediatamente me sentí sumamente mal , primero por llevarlo a alguien que cobraba barato pero no hacía un buen trabajo. A mi me hizo algunas extracciones y me fue bien, por eso pensé que en este tipo de trabajos también era experto, luego indagando un poco más con personas que habían acudido allí, descubrí que muchos de los trabajos de amalgamas no servían y que se caían muy rápido, que los materiales no eran de calidad.

Cuando le pido a mi hijo que me muestre la boca me quedo sorprendida ante la inflamación que tenía en la encía y se notaba a leguas el mal trabajo realizado , ya se estaba desprendiendo así que me sentí sumamente mal por mi hijo quién me confesó que tenía algún tiempo doliendole , pero en vista de todos los gastos que teníamos, solo se tomaba un analgésico y no quería preocuparnos porque habíamos dicho que no estábamos bien en la economía.

En esta semana haré los sacrificios que sean necesarios para solventar eso, ya que no puedo esperar que se complique más. Agradezco a este último odontólogo que fue honesto y no le hizo nada porque no era su especialidad y me recomendó llevarlo a uno y hacerle una panorámica, nisiquiera le cobró la consulta de revisión, así que yo debo hacer todos los ajustes en el presupuesto para llevarlo y hacerle todo lo que necesita que se que será un poco doloroso ( quizá amerite un tratamiento de conducto ) y a la vez costoso y en verdad me duele no haber tenido el dinero en aquella oportunidad para llevarlo a un sitio mejor, solo confíe en un profesional que quizá cobraba barato para tener más clientes.

Amigas y amigos de hive esto me sirve de lección en el sentido que lo barato sale caro, algunas veces no es así, pero debí primero recabar más información al principio, ya que ahora es que lo estoy haciendo y todo lo que escucho son quejas y cuentos de trabajos mal hechos, incluso de ortodoncia, donde ortodoncista no es. Ahora me queda quejarme menos y solventar eso en mi hijo de 15 años para que no pierda su pieza dental, así que por aquí estaré contando el proceso.

My son is very careful with his mouth and maintains very good oral hygiene. He brushes after every meal and uses his mouthwash constantly. I have worried about that because one of my weaknesses is that I don't have good teeth and little by little I have been solving that, but as a mother my economic priority will always be focused on my children.

As a result of all the needs that have to be covered at home and above all the excessive expenses in food and private schools that are our main priority and where we focus our sacrifices, I went to a dentist that was recommended to me who had opened his office about 5 houses away from mine and that his fees were not expensive, rather very accessible, so I took Guillermo there in the first instance.

The work really did not last long and less than 10 days later I took him back because the amalgam had fallen out, but I just thought that maybe he had eaten something that made that effect and as he repaired it again, obviously at no additional cost, I was calm and apparently satisfied.

On Sunday, being in a park with my youngest son for the children's day, I noticed that when Guillermo was talking there was a particular smell in his mouth, so my alarms went off immediately and I told my oldest daughter @virgi2001 to take him the next day to the dentist that she had recently gone to, since she had also had a bad experience with her previous dentist. I had work and couldn't miss the morning so she took him.

When I got home with the belief that everything was solved, my daughter told me that the dentist could not do anything for her and that it was more difficult than she thought. He told her that she had a very bad job and that she needed the intervention of a specialist in endodontics and that she would also need a crown.

When he told me this I immediately felt very bad, first for taking him to someone who charged cheap but did not do a good job. He did some extractions for me and I did well, so I thought he was also an expert in this type of work, then when I inquired a little more with people who had gone there, I discovered that many of the amalgam works were no good and that they fell out very quickly, that the materials were not of quality.

When I asked my son to show me his mouth, I was surprised at the inflammation he had in the gum and I could clearly see the bad work done, it was already coming off so I felt extremely bad for my son who confessed that he had been in pain for some time, but in view of all the expenses we had, he only took an analgesic and did not want to worry us because we had said that we were not doing well in the economy.

In this week I will make whatever sacrifices are necessary to settle that, as I can't wait for it to get more complicated. I thank this last dentist who was honest and did not do anything to him because it was not his specialty and he recommended me to take him to one and do a panoramic, he did not even charge him the revision consultation, so I must make all the adjustments in the budget to take him and do everything he needs that I know will be a little painful (maybe he will need a root canal) and at the same time expensive and it really hurts me not to have had the money at that time to take him to a better place, I only trusted a professional who maybe charged cheap to have more customers.

Friends of hive this serves as a lesson for me in the sense that cheap is expensive, sometimes it is not so, but I should have first gathered more information at the beginning, because now I am doing it and all I hear are complaints and stories of poorly done work, even orthodontics, where the orthodontist is not an orthodontist. Now I have to complain less and solve this in my 15 year old son so that he does not lose his teeth, so I will be here telling you about the process.
