Due to the impact of Cyclone Sitrang, our village is in distress/ ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিত্রাং এর প্রভাবে আমাদের গ্রামের বিপর্যস্ত অবস্থা।(BNG-ENG)
ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের আঘাত যেখানে প্রবল হয় সেই স্থানগুলোতে ক্ষয়ক্ষতির পরিমাণ বেশি দেখা যায়। গ্রাম অঞ্চলে থাকলে ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রভাব ভালোভাবে লক্ষ্য করা যায়। কেননা গ্রাম অঞ্চলে যেমন গাছপালা রয়েছে, তেমনি বসতবাড়িও রয়েছে।আর গ্রাম অঞ্চলে ফাঁকা জায়গার পরিমাণও বেশি। যদিও বসত বাড়ির চারপাশে গাছপালা থাকলে উপকারই হয়। ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রভাব গাছপালার উপর দিয়েই বেশি পরিলক্ষিত হয়।তবে বেশিরভাগ সময় বসতবাড়ি ও ঘরের টিনের চালা উড়ে যায় এবং সবকিছু লন্ডভন্ড করে দেয়।গ্রামের বেশিরভাগ মানুষ ঘরবাড়ি ও আশ্রয় ছাড়া হয়ে পড়ে। প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগের কারণে শুধু মানুষই নয় সব ধরনের পশু,প্রাণী, পাখি, উপকারী ও অপকারী পোকামাকড় ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় এবং প্রাণহানিও ঘটে।

And in rural areas the amount of empty space is also high. Although it is beneficial to have plants around the residential house. The impact of the cyclone is mostly seen on the vegetation. But most of the time the tin roofs of the houses and houses are blown away and everything is destroyed. Most of the people in the village are left without houses and shelter. ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রবল হাওয়া এতটাই বেশি হয় যে স্থানগুলো দিয়ে হাওয়া প্রবল বেগে যায় সেই স্থানের সব গাছপালার শিকড় বেশি গভীরে থাকলেও উপড়ে পড়ে যায়। আবাদি জমি জমার ফসল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যায়। সবকিছুর মূলে একটি বিপর্যস্ত অবস্থার সৃষ্টি হয়।বৈদ্যুতিক সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে পড়ে।ফোন বা বিভিন্ন ডিভাইসের মাধ্যমে যোগাযোগ অবস্থা অচল হয়ে পড়ে। গতকাল রাতের ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রভাবে আমাদের গ্রামে খুবই খারাপ অবস্থা দেখা দিয়েছে। সকাল দশটার পর থেকে ঝিরিঝিরি বৃষ্টি শুরু হয়েছে এবং বিকেলের পর থেকে বৃষ্টির সাথে হালকা বাতাসও ছিল। কিন্তু সন্ধ্যার পর থেকে যেমন বৃষ্টি তেমন প্রবল বেগে বাতাস বইছিল।চারিদিকে বৃষ্টি ও বাতাসের শব্দ। সেইসাথে ঘরবাড়ি, গাছপালা ভাঙ্গার শব্দ হচ্ছিল। সেই সময় আমার যেন খুবই ভয় লাগছিল। কারন আমার ছেলের আরো বেশি ভয়ে কান্না করছিল। মাঝরাতে চারিদিকে অবস্থা আরো খারাপ হতে থাকে।যদিও আমি সারারাত ঘুমাতে পারিনি। কিন্তু সকালেও বের হতে পারিনি। কারণ সকালে আবহাওয়া বেশ ঠাণ্ডা ছিল, যার জন্য আমি আমার ছেলেকে নিয়ে বাহিরে বের হয়নি।ঠান্ডা একটু কমে গেলে বাহিরের অবস্থা যেন মেনে নেওয়ার মতো ছিল না। চারিদিকে শুধু গাছপালার ভেঙ্গে পড়ে আছে, ঘরের চালা, টিনের ঘর গুলো উড়ে গেছে। যদিও আমাদের বাড়িতে তেমন কোন ক্ষতি হয়নি।

Due to the impact of last night's cyclone, our village is in a very bad condition. It started drizzling after 10 am and from afternoon rain was accompanied by light wind. But since evening, the wind was blowing with great speed as well as the rain.The sound of rain and wind all around. As well as houses, trees were being broken. At that time I was very afraid. Because my son was crying more and more scared. Things got worse around midnight. I couldn't sleep through the night though. But I could not go out in the morning. Because the weather was quite cold in the morning, for which I did not go out with my son. When the cold subsided a little, the condition outside was not acceptable. All around, only trees are broken, sheds, tin houses are blown away. Although there was no damage to our house.
কিন্তু চারিদিকের অবস্থা বেশ খারাপ হয়েছে। আমাদের বাড়ির সামনের জমিতে ধান গুলো নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে। ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রভাব আমাদের গ্রামে বেশ খারাপ অবস্থাই হয়েছে।সবকিছু দেখে আমার বেশ মনটা খারাপ লাগছে। বিশেষ করে যারা আরো গরীব, অসহায় মানুষ তারা এই ক্ষতি গুলো কিভাবে মেনে নিবে। তারা কান্না করছে এবং কিভাবে জীবন যাপন করবে এই চিন্তায় ব্যাকুল হয়ে যাচ্ছে। কৃষকরা মাথায় হাত দিয়ে বসে আছেন। আজকের সকালের এই বিপর্যস্ত অবস্থার কিছু অংশ আমি আপনাদের মাঝে দেখাতে চেষ্টা করেছি। যদিও আমি গ্রামের সব ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ অবস্থা আপনাদের মাঝে দেখাতে পারেনি।কিন্তু আমি আমার সাধ্যমত কিছু ফটোগ্রাফি সংগ্রহ করে রেখেছি এবং আপনাদের দেখাতে চেষ্টা করেছি। যেহেতু বিভিন্ন ওয়েবসাইটে প্রাকৃতিক দূর্যোগগুলো সংঘটিত হওয়ার পূর্বাভাস আগেই পাওয়া যায় তাই আমাদের সকলকেই নিরাপদে থাকার জন্য চেষ্টা করতে হবে এবং সকলকে নিরাপদে থাকার জন্য অবহিত করতে হবে।

I feel very sad after seeing everything. Especially those who are more poor, helpless people how will they accept these losses. They are crying and wondering how to live. Farmers are sitting with their hands on their heads. I have tried to show you some parts of this distressed situation this morning.
