¡Hola a todos! Me encanta el shoujo, ya que adoro los romances empalagosos que no somos capaces de experimentar en la vida real ja ja aparte de la delicadeza y la belleza que puedes apreciar en los animes de éste tipo. Pero el anime del que les vengo a hablar el día del hoy, se sale del molde del anime shoujo romántico en donde las protagonistas bellas y hermosas viven lindas aventuras mientras todo es de color rosado alrededor. Nana se va más por el tipo novelesco realista, en donde las chicas hermosas (porque son lindísimas) hacen lo posible por alcanzar su ideal de felicidad, siendo fiel a sus corazones en un mundo lleno de obstáculos; mujeres fuertes que adicionalmente deben hacer lo posible por no ahogarse en las tormentosas aguas del amor. Nana es un anime que una vez lo mires, te preguntarás porqué no lo hiciste antes.

But the anime that I am here to talk about today, is out of the mold of the romantic shoujo anime where the beautiful and beautiful protagonists live beautiful adventures while everything is pink around. Nana goes more for the realistic romance type, where the beautiful girls (because they are very pretty) do their best to achieve their ideal of happiness, being true to their hearts in a world full of obstacles; strong women who must also do their best not to drown in the stormy waters of love. Nana is an anime that once you watch it, you will wonder why you didn't do it before.

Nana es creación de la talentosa Ai Yazawa, quién también se le conoce por sus obras Gokinjo monogatari y posterior Paradise Kiss. Sus trabajos gozan con un exquisito diseño, no sólo de sus personajes, sino también de sus prendas de vestir. Ver un anime de Yazawa es un deleite visual, propio de las pasarelas de moda. Por lo que, uno de los atractivos del anime Nana es su arte visual. En cuanto a la historia, todo transcurre alrededor de dos chicas que llevan el mismo nombre "Nana", con personalidades muy opuestas y la manera pintoresca en la que el destino las une para que aprendan juntas distintas experiencias de vida.

Nana is the creation of the talented Ai Yazawa, who is also known for her works Gokinjo monogatari and later Paradise Kiss. His works enjoy an exquisite design, not only of his characters, but also of his clothing. Watching a Yazawa anime is a visual delight, typical of the fashion runways. Therefore, one of the attractions of the anime Nana is its visual art. As for the story, everything takes place around two girls who bear the same name "Nana", with very opposite personalities and the picturesque way in which fate unites them so that they can learn different life experiences together.

Por un lado tenemos a Nana Komatsu, una chica risueña, amante de las cosas lindas y de la moda, caprichosa, llorona, enamoradiza y un tanto infantil. Tiene una personalidad que atrae a los hombres, pero su inmadurez emocional hace que sus relaciones acaben estrepitosamente. La idea errónea de que no puede vivir sin estar enamorada, es la fuente de mucho de su problemas, ya que demuestra ser sumamente dependiente de otros para no hacerse responsable de sus propias emociones. Proveniente de una familia amorosa y con amigos que suelen defenderla a capa y espada ante cualquier eventualidad, ésta niña tiene que convertirse en mujer a medida que la vida le va dando fuertes experiencias para el moldeamiento de su carácter. No posee una meta en la vida más que la de ser feliz al lado de la pareja de turno, por lo que suele desembocar todo su afecto desde el primer momento. Su manera de actuar la lleva a ganarse el apodo de "Hachi", pues sus amigos piensas que se comporta al igual que un cachorro ansioso de atención, a mi parecer, la descripción correcta de cómo es ella.

She has a personality that attracts men, but her emotional immaturity causes her relationships to end with a bang. The misconception that she cannot live without being in love is the source of much of her problems, as she proves to be extremely dependent on others not to take responsibility for her own emotions. Coming from a loving family and with friends who usually defend her tooth and nail in the face of any eventuality, this girl has to become a woman as life gives her strong experiences to shape her character. He does not have a goal in life other than to be happy with the partner on duty, so he usually flows all his affection from the first moment. Her way of acting leads her to earn the nickname "Hachi", because her friends think that she behaves like a puppy eager for attention, in my opinion, the correct description of what she is like.

Mientras que Hachi es la típica mascota mimada que te exige cariño, Nana Osaki es el gatito abandonado que encuentras mojado bajo la lluvia, pero que cuando te acercas, él busca de arañarte. Esta chica es todo lo opuesto a lo que Hachi puede ser. De carácter fuerte, decidida, ambiciosa y luchadora. Ella pertenece a una banda llamada Black Stones de la cual es la vocalista. Su sueño es llegar a ser una cantante famosa y que su banda, supere a la de Ren Honjō (quién era su pareja), su determinación por lograrlo la hace pensar siempre con la cabeza fría, incapaz de mantenerse al lado de Ren para evitar sentirse en su sombra, una sombra tan grande que parece que la absorbiera. Abandonada por su madre y criada por su abuela que la trataba con rigidez, Nana creció triste y solitaria, escuchando música, escribiendo canciones sobre lo que anidaba en su corazón. El miedo al abandono la persigue, por lo que suele ser obsesiva con mantener a sus amigos cerca de ella.

Ambas chicas se conocen por azares del destino en un tren, con rumbo a Tokio, allí esperan encontrarse con lo que han estado esperando durante un año: Una va detrás de su novio y la otra detrás de su sueño. De manera inesperada acaban viviendo juntas en el mismo departamento e inevitablemente, su amistad se va intensificando. La personalidad de ambas juega un papel crucial en la serie. Nana Osaki, solitaria y fría, acaba disfrutando de la compañía de Hachi, sintiéndose animada a su lado y haciendo lo imposible por mantenerla consigo. Mientras que Nana Komatsu es seducida por la determinación y la pasión con la cual su compañera de habitación vive su vida, haciéndola cuestionarse sobre sus propias metas y objetivos, pero en todo momento dejándose llevar por sus sentimientos y malas decisiones.

Both girls meet by chance of fate on a train, bound for Tokyo, there they hope to find what they have been waiting for a year: One goes after her boyfriend and the other after her dream. Unexpectedly they end up living together in the same apartment and inevitably, their friendship intensifies. The personality of both plays a crucial role in the series. Nana Osaki, lonely and cold, ends up enjoying Hachi's company, feeling encouraged by his side and doing her best to keep her with her. While Nana Komatsu is seduced by the determination and passion with which her roommate lives her life, making her question her own goals and objectives, but at all times letting herself be carried away by her feelings and bad decisions.

La manera en que se desarrolla todo el drama de la serie va acompañado de la mano de una música atrayente y como mencioné, un estilo de personajes emotivo. El amor es el eje central de la serie, en donde las jóvenes enamoradas deberán escoger el camino correcto para ser felices, hallándose con que detrás de cada canción de amor hay una historia llena de mucho dolor, separaciones y sufrimiento.

The way in which all the drama of the series unfolds is accompanied by the hand of an attractive music and as I mentioned, an emotional character style. Love is the central axis of the series, where young lovers must choose the right path to be happy, finding that behind each love song there is a story full of much pain, separations and suffering.

El anime cuenta con una encantadora banda sonora. La música al estilo punk rock va a la par con la personalidad de la vocalista de Blast. Los Openings y Endings contienen canciones ambientadas en las bandas del anime, Blackstones y Trapnest, lo que le da un toque bastante original.

The anime has a lovely soundtrack. The punk rock style music goes hand in hand with the Blast vocalist's personality. The Openings and Endings contain songs set by the anime bands, Blackstones and Trapnest, which gives it a rather original touch.

Sin duda Nana es un anime sumamente recomendable si lo tuyo son las historias de romance con un toque de realidad y si eres amante de la música. Traté de no hacer tanto spoilers porque no quiero arruinarles la trama, ya me he visto éste anime varias veces y sin duda alguna lo volvería a ver, es muy atrapante.
