Internet Trouble

Trouble caused by the internet. The internet is quite the troublemaker, like a rascally little child. Oh man my mind feels foggy and tired. I went in for a PCR test today that is mostly for reassurance, because when Lochlan was having his worst symptoms, he tested negative on three rapid tests on three different days, and when I was having my worst symptoms yesterday, I also tested negative. The PCR test today was the soonest I could get an appointment at a near-enough by location. But really, what I should have done was use one of the PCR take home tests that we have and dropped it off at the drop location on Saturday. But I also thought I'd be seeing my CASA kid yesterday, so I wanted to PCR test after that in case I got exposed in that outing...but even if I had, would I really have shown positive as soon as the very next day? How quick is covid traveling these days? I don't know. I wound up not seeing my CASA kid because my cold symptoms were so bad. I wonder...is it worse having a cold after one has had covid? Does it make a regular cold hit harder? Or are they just unrelated? I mean...they're similar viruses, aren't they? Or are they? I don't remember, and I've read about this, so I should know. But my whole body including my brain and eyes feel tired right now. Oy vey. I'm going on a trip tomorrow and I told my hosts that I have a cold and they are still ok with my coming and I still want to go, but boy oh boy do I wish I didn't have a cold at all.
