Empty cup

My cup is not empty. It's got a little bit of leftover iced coffee in it. I had my second cup of coffee as an iced cup of coffee because my friends that I'm staying with use a French press to make coffee, and by the time I was ready for my second cup, the coffee was cold. They also have a microwave, it now occurs to me, but that wasn't on my mind before. We don't have a microwave at home, so it's not something I think about. Anyway, iced coffee sounded nice because I was drinking it while eating lunch, and it seems strange to drink hot coffee with lunch. My ears are still a bit clogged from my flight yesterday. I caught Lochlan's cold, so I was super drippy-nosed and gross feeling on Sunday and Monday. Thankfully by yesterday I was not feeling quite as awful, because my PCR test came back negative and it was time to fly. But I was still pretty congested. I took some Tylenol sinus medicine before my flight and takeoff was alright. But when we started to descend, my ears started to hurt and everything became very muffled sounding, even though I kept yawning to try and pop my ears. I've actually never experienced ear pain while flying before, but this time my congestion combined with the pressure changes really did a number on my eu something tubes. The muffledness continued until I went to bed last night. Sometime in the night, I think my right ear popped. By the time I woke up, my hearing was much better out of that ear. While I was walking with Alyssa just a couple hours ago, or less, I yawned and my left ear popped. But both ears are still like one pop away from "normal" hearing. And my equilibrium feels a bit off right now, but hopefully that'll get better by tomorrow, too.
