Splinterlands Card Review Rewards Epic Cards Part 2
Okay, it is time to look at the rest of the Epic Cards that are new. I know there is a lot of stuff going on right now with @justinsunsteemit. I will just say I am glad to hear they are talking it out. Now I just want to have a bit of fun and review a few cards. Giveaway some DEC to someone and give you a chance to win 500 DEC again. Fire Spitter is not that new. But I haven't talked about this card yet. Overall this is a good card for the dragon team. It has good damage compared to the cost at 3 to 4. It can be used in little league games. Flying in doge is a nice combo. This card is going to be hard to hit and it can have 7 hp. It has solid speed. The reason I like this card is the dragons needed a few more low-cost cards. Some might not think that as they are a strong team. But this lets you play more dragon teams that don't need as many cards from other teams. I am glad that I got a lot of these cards before the change to the new rewards. I like the dragon team and I am glad I have them at good levels.
Evangelist really strong card for the Life team. I mean this just adds again good card with a ranged attack. Add in snare, and inspire and the card is good. Then it gets rust that is very useful now that a lot more teams get armor. It is a bit slow but that means it can be used in reverse speed and still okay for when it is going to attack last. Maybe the snare and slow attack in a normal game aren't the best. As it might deal last blows and not bring down a flyer for easy hits of others. It will be nice to have a ranged card with inspire. It can now be the one ranged card that makes the melee guys stronger. This card will get a lot of play in mana matches over 22. I think that is a good idea to level up this card.
Shadowy Presence is a good card to use with Fallen Specter as for just 3 mana you get to have a lot of cool abilities and giving fallen specter another life helps him a lot from dying right away. This also gives death and inspire card that they really could use. On top that for no abilities matches this is a 1 cost card that can take 6 hits. This makes the death team a lot better for those games with low mana and no abilities if mana isn't that high. I have a max level death team so I want this card. I just need to get lucky and get a lot more. I really like what this card will add to the team. It has a lot of good sets up for like 15 or 16 mana games. I am glad that death is strong again.

That Evangelist is the most powerful one I would say, I mean Inspire and 4 ranged damage at level 4. I'm tempted to buy some of the market right now as it will take a while to get 20 from rewards (I'm at 2 now). The entire Justin Sun heist puts me back on making all too many moves though.
Fire Spitter seems like beast to me, he will shine in Little League and/or Earthquake matches for sure, maybe even Back to Basics. Decent damage and durable enough to tank some sneak hits. In lower leagues 2 dmg / 4 mana for 1 star is solid for range dmg dealer and at 3 stars he becomes decent damage dealer overall.
Evangelist looks good, but I am not sure how good. I think utilizing snare will be important to reach his full potential so I can see him shine in aggressive Earthquake builds and Reverse speed scenarios. He might have tough times at 1-2 stars.
Shadowy Presence is card that seems most impressive imho and will play very differently on 1-2 stars, where it will function as very good tank. On 3+ stars where it will function as separator on 2nd or 3rd position - between frontline and squishier targets that can also tank snipes or at last position as anti-sneak tank. Once it reaches 6 stars inspire makes this card really really strong. And best of all its usage will be quite universal - it will clearly shine in low mana matches, but even in mid-high mana matches it will be very useful "filler" card in many situations.

Wow thanks! I love the fire spitter, useful in a lot of situations. The evangelist looks promising too, but thise last 2 cards still deserve a better look from me.

So... embarrassingly enough I'm not super familiar with any of these cards yet. I have them... but haven't used them enough to love them. But obviously that little dragon buddy is a beast and while a little slow, the Evangelist is also a bit terrifying. It's that last one... I think I've only used it once or so... but it is a good squishy...
