Practical Chicken Wrap Recipe 🌯😍

Hello. Today I came to you with a delicious and very practical recipe. Wrap is a very popular street food in my country. If I spend time outside, I definitely consume this snack. Since it is made from the lean part of the chicken, it does not have many calories. Even though I eat from the street, homemade is much more appealing to me. At least I can eat much more comfortably because I prepare it with my own hands. Anyway, let's move on to the recipe for this delicious snack.

What's in it;

  • 1 onion
  • 1 Piece Pepper
  • Lavash bread
  • 200 gr Yogurt
  • 1 Piece Tomato
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 400gr Chicken Breast
  • 3 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Salt, pepper, cumin, thyme (add according to your taste)

1-) First of all, we need to prepare the burritos sauce. I added garlic and vinegar to a large plate.

2-) Add the yogurt and spices and mix it all together. I adjusted the spices according to my own taste. Whichever spice you want to be more dominant, use more of it. I added a little bit of cayenne pepper. You know, I love pain so much :)

3-) I cut the chickens into long strips and cut them bluntly. They should all be finger-thick.

4-) I poured the chopped chicken breasts into the sauce I prepared. Make sure the sauce reaches all sides of the chicken. Let the chicken sit for half an hour to let the flavor of the sauce soak into the chicken. After the chickens have waited for half an hour, you can start the cooking process.

5-)Cut the onions into small pieces. Then add olive oil to the pan and fry the onions.

6-)While the onions are frying, chop the pepper. Medium size is sufficient. Add them to the onions and fry them again.

7-) When the peppers are dead, let's add the sauce chicken to the pan. Don't forget to add it along with the sauce. Cook over high heat until chicken is cooked through. Just like sautéing.

8-) After the chickens are cooked, let's flavor them with tomatoes. Let's add the tomatoes that we cut into cubes and cook in this way for 3 more minutes without turning off the bottom of the stove. Then turn off the stove.

NOTE; There must be a chubby cat under your feet while sautéing in the pan. Otherwise, your food will not taste good. :) You see the conditions under which I work, right? :)

9-) I usually warm up the bread before wrapping my wrap. While the pan is still hot, heat the lavash by placing it on it.

10-) Add the chicken to the middle of the heated lavash bread. If you wish, you can sweeten it with greens. I added a few curly leaves. Then I added hot sauce and mayonnaise and rolled it into a roll. Now your chicken wrap is ready to eat!

Chicken wrap is a very tasty and practical recipe. If you haven't had the chance to try it before, I highly recommend you try it. Especially your kids will love this recipe. I always consume ayran with it. Ayran; It is prepared by adding 2 3 spoons of yoghurt and a pinch of salt to a glass of water, whisking and consumed cold. This recipe and the drink are inseparable for me. If you are testing ayran for the first time, it may taste different to you, but it is the second most consumed beverage in our country. The first drink we drink the most is well-brewed black tea.
