April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day ❤️ Happy April 23! 🎉🎈
April 23, 1920 is the date when the First Grand National Assembly, representing the will of the Turkish nation, was opened and the Turkish people declared their sovereignty. A year later, on April 23, 1921, our first President, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, gifted this blessed day to children all over the world, including our country. Since then, this holiday has been celebrated with enthusiasm in our country every 23 April. All schools celebrate with children. We have always felt lucky to have such a thoughtful Leader. Since my childhood, I have always taken care to protect its principles and values. We've never met him, but I've always felt him in my heart.
On this special day, children are prepared for various performances days in advance by their teachers. I wanted to celebrate this special day by going to the closest institution to where I am today.
Our neighbor's 6-year-old son was also going to perform today. All the children took the stage to perform their shows with great enthusiasm. Their parents watched their children proudly. It is possible to find the traces of Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, everywhere. There were always traces of him on the T-shirts and the big flags hung in the schools. If we are celebrating this holiday here, it is all thanks to him and his comrades. It's hard not to be grateful for him.
By enduring all difficulties (there were traitors in our country who tried to prevent him) he achieved a great victory against both the traitors and the enemies who occupied our country. Until I die, I will be grateful to him and raise my children to follow in his footsteps by adopting his principles. He will always live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
