El danza del Oso tiene una simbología vinculada a lo religioso. El oso está basado en los ojos terrenal, el sentido de esta danza era el de espantar los malos pensamientos, acontecimientos, noticias y cosechas, para que dejen paso a un año fructífero y lleno de trabajo
