Morning Run - Benny Hill

I just finished a 5.838km running that lasted about 0hh:34mm:51ss !

When I stepped outside today it felt pretty warm, but everything was wet and it did rain a bit as I went up the road. I had it in mind to do some hill intervals on the nearest appreciable slope, which is West Drive that leads up to the old asylum. I just jogged to the start of that and then set off on the first climb.

There were a couple of old guys who I often see out walking and I passed them several times as I did my five climbs. Each time it is up about 6m over 300m, which does not sound much, but it is enough to make it harder than running on the flat. It is equivalent to going up a couple of floors in a building.

I took it gently going downhill and even walked at times as I was putting it all into the climbs. I am happy enough that most were under 5min/km pace and it would be good to consistently get them all under. I did have the Strava 'Local Legend' status for that segment, but someone has overtaken me. I should do it every week and then I should be well ahead.

The rain did not amount to anything, so I was not too wet. I was wearing my On Cloudflow shoes that are really light, but as with my other shoes they are getting a bit worn. I ought to get some new ones.

I took it easy again on the way home. There were not too many kids around going to school, but I took the back way around to our place anyway. That involves another climb, but I was not going for speed by then.

Run free and stay well.

Hope the climb wasn't too tiring?

You really shouldn't worry about me :) Running is supposed to be tiring. Otherwise it's probably not doing you much good.

Sorry, but I get a lot of what I perceive as fake 'sympathy' and concern for my well-being. That is not what I am trying to get as a response. I run for fitness and because I enjoy it. There are serious runners here who would tell me if I was going to harm myself with what I was doing.

Not criticising you, just saying :) I want sincere comments, not flattery.

There have a good place to running in my Home town.
At the side of road we can see nice mountains. Also we
can get very fresh air. Oh... I miss my home town.

Nice job on your run! It was weights day for me today. I wasn't quite feeling it, but I was able to push through. It is actually pretty lucky that my wife and I even bother to get out of bed. We have been so tired lately. We jumped from like 40 degrees in the morning to 75 by about 5 PM yesterday. The temp swings lately have been crazy.

It has turned wet here with heavy downpour overnight. Not too bad on temperature. I just want to be able to get out and run. Maybe through the winter I should do some more body-weight training inside. Want to keep my fitness up.

We got some rain this morning too. We are supposed to get down into the 50's this weekend with night temps in the 30's. I think Winter is right around the corner.

I think in Celcius, so I have to convert those. Shouldn't be down to freezing here for a while yet.

Hey mate,
Do you mind reviewing and supporting the Hive Authentication Services proposal? That would be much appreciated.
Your feedback about the project is welcome too.
Thank you.

It sounds like something really useful. We need easy ways for people to authenticate themselves without exposing their keys to risks. Good luck with this.
