Morning Run - Squirrel!

I just finished a 6.96km running that lasted about 0hh:41mm:12ss !

Another nice morning for a gentle run to stretch my legs. Again I went up to Fairfield, but circled that anti-clockwise this time. I guess there must be lots of squirrels up there and I saw a couple today.

Again there were no records broken as I am not wanting to wear myself out or get any injuries before my race on Sunday. That will be my biggest event in a long while. I have no special targets for time on that, but maybe the crowds will push me along. I will cycle to the start, which is a similar distance to getting to parkrun. The race is all on roads which get partially closed for the morning.

I had my usual cereal with some raspberries from the garden. It has been a great crop this year.

It has turned into a nice day, so I hope Sunday will be good too. The forecast has a low chance of rain.

There are lots of runners on Hive, but more are always welcome. You can use Exhaust or Actifit to log your activity and get some extra votes or tokens. I can create accounts if anyone needs one. Just get in touch.

Run free and stay well.

Those do look like some really nice raspberries! I can't imagine pulling something that nice from my garden. I guess I shouldn't say that. I have gotten some nice tomatoes and zucchini this year.

They are pretty easy to keep going. I just cut them right back at the end of the year and they come back strong. We've not had a huge amount of rain, but what we've had seems to be enough for them. They are a very usable crop as you can just eat them any time raw. I find with some other things we don't always use all we grow.
