Viewer discretion : One Shot and Gone!

Who would love a job which require continous killing of innocent animals.?
In India you may end up finding such people in many religious places. Their duty is only to chop the animals after rituals. As already been advised, this post have some sensitive visuals and many people do not like it.

But considering this has been a part of culture and tradition for many people going on for many years, I thought to share them. Recently, I have these picture from someone in relation. He went to a place , infact a religious place where goats were sacrificed for wish fulfillment. He showed me some picture and really made me to think about the duty of the poor priest who keeps on chopping the head one after the another.

The chopping is so precisely that in one shot the head get separated from the body. It was not like the man require more stroke. It was done with a single fine shot. Perfection at best. Also, noticeable is the fact, that the animals were not tied up at any place. It was sacrificed while they were free or holder by hand.

Once the blade done its job the other person, just hold on to the body, to stop the flow of blood.

One after the another, the process keep continuing, untill the devotees stop coming. The devotes comes to the place to offer the goat sacrifice, after fulfillment of their wishes. The man responsible for shopping took his job so seriously that he doesn't talk to anyone. He seems to master his skill. One shot and gone

Devotees keep coming with goats. There is no limit for the size and weight of goat. They get inside the compound, get the goat sacrificed and walk way with the body for Fiesta. All the sacrificed goats were consumed at the place adjacent to this chopping place. The man who is responsible for doing is job, doesn't stop, and keep working on his skill. He do charge some amount for each sacrifice.

No job is big or small, and this is very evidient after looking at this man. It's hard to find someone to take up such job. It is not everybody to be so masterly in chopping off the head. And those who do it, have own heart or compulsion to perform the duty. No every one dare to do.

A non stop practice that keeps on going for ages. Blame it on culture or our tradition. It's still the people faith that keeps going on since ages. My tribute to #wednesdaywalk community and putting up a question to @tattoodjay and the #hive community, not sure if people refer it as cruelty against animals, but how they gonna stop the traditional practices.?

Peace!!

Namaste @steemflow

Wow ! This one from you is intense today !!! The cut does indeed look clean, precise and fast, but I imagine that the sight of blood must still terrorise the animal... That and the noise, the bleating...

I'm not vegan, and I think that animal flesh should once again be considered sacred as it was for millennia, because it's not trivial to just eat.

Thank you for sharing this interesting one @steemflow !
Greetings 🌞

I think traditions are hard to change but it is possible. However I also think that this is no worse a practice than killing animals for consumption. This is just in one's face whilst the other isn't.
The priest is certainly good at his craft. Not the most pleasant job to have though.

Okay. The first thing is it is not mandated by our scriptures, but the taste buds could be crazy and to assuage it, humans take the excuse of God and try to justify the killing even when God has explicitly forbidden the killing of any animals even for your own consumption, let alone sacrifice at a so-called sacred place, when these things get repeated for years, over a period of time, it becomes a part of the culture.

This cruelty must stop, in fact, any form of cruelty to animals must stop.

I have personally done a bit of research on what exactly our scriptures tell about consuming meat and even for that matter sacrifices.
